According to Elta MD Dermstore is not an authorized dealer and obtains their products illegally.

I placed an order over a week ago, never received a conf #, email, nothing called Dermstore waited on hold for ever, emailed them, never got a response,, finally got someone and said my order was never placed, so I reordered on the phone and again no conf # etc,,, tried to track my order said theres no order, but my credit card had been charged and I think Ive been charged twice and once again I called was on hold forever, emailed them again and nothing, worst online experience ever, Dermstore must be paying the YouTube influencers to promote them because they rave about Dermstore and my experience had been HORRIBLE

It's literally impossible to get anyone on the phone or on chat for customer service. Not exaggerating.
I've been really ripped off by this stupid company due to them not correctly cancelling the Autoshop service on my account. I never received that order so when I tried to work it out with customer service, Dermstore offered ZERO help and claimed unless they have the product returned, they will not refund me or help me in any way. Ridiculous. Not a customer satisfaction-centric company by any means and terrible terms. Never ever shopping there and making sure I steer other people away from them

There are so many more websites and brick & mortar options out there that actually value customers and understand customer service, PLEASE do not waste your time or money at this place. You will regret it.

I have to agree with the other one star reviews. My original order was shipped to a wrong address. Contacted Dermstore and rep said their system was down but she took my info and little did I know - I was supposed to call back? I waited over a week and called again and that is when Dermstore told me they didn't ship my order. So basically I would not have received my order. So because their system was down I would be responsible to follow up on my order! CUSTOMER NO SERVICE! I have ordered from this company before and never had a problem. Obviously something is not the same and I will have to go elsewhere!

I ordered a gift for my sister and she did not receive it on time! The reason: Dermstore put all orders on hold for review that have a billing and shipping address over 1000 miles apart to avoid fraud. This was a gift and it was very clear this was a gift. I checked the gift box option. I'm really disappointed as I had to ask my sister if she received her gift. Only after I asked her, I searched my email and saw the company sent me an email telling me to contact them. Not a good customer experience.

DISHONEST COMPANY WITH RUDE, MISERABLE, BITTER EMPLOYEES. Dermstore won't respond to phone calls or emails. They take your money out of your account and you will never receive the product. They cancel orders made with Gift Cards out of SPITE. Brianna, Kara the supervisor, Jenean and the rest of them - rude, aggressive, angry ALL THE TIME. THEY HANG UP ON CUSTOMERS. NEVER DOING BUSINESS WITH DERMSTORE AGAIN or TARGET.

My order went from Sparks, Nevada, to Bloomington, California, to Chula Vista, California, to San Diego, California (which should have been it's final destination), then BACK to Bloomington, California. It still has not arrived, and it has been two weeks since I placed my order.

Boy, I wish I had read these reviews BEFORE purchasing. I made an order on 11/27 - status was it was on hold. CS said hold was due to a promotional item being out of stock, so we swapped it. Order was supposed to ship in a couple days. No order shipped... in the meantime my card was charged $263.93 for a $235.80 order (which has STILL has not shipped). Was able to get a refund for the difference & told my order would ship today. NOW I get an email saying my order is on hold & will ship soon. I have no confidence in this company at all. There is something that doesn't appear to be right here. Will be seeking a full refund tomorrow.

I order the obagi nu derm kit on their website, after ordering it i realized it was not the RX version. Therefore soon after i made the order, i requested that it was cancelled. I received email notification that it was cancelled. However, i call customer service and was told it was never cancelled. My order was delivered today, and when i open the box the expiration date shows 05/2021. Dermstore are a fraud. I am requesting a refund. I will ship this product back. Beware NO where on their website is there a place that provides info to start the return process. You click on the so called link, and then your just sending another email. Smh. This company is a scam. Selling old cosmetics products.

I understand we're in the middle of a pandemic... but sheesh! I've shipped and received items with little delay! I ordered a product 5/6 and here it is 6/2. Still no product in sight and even with them sending out another product these boxes seem to just vanish. Dermstore seem to NEVER make it to USPS. This is my first and last time dealing with this company.

This organization couldn't even manage to process an e-gift card, After spending 5 weeks trying to track it down Dermstore ended up cancelling the order without my requesting cancellation and then told me I'd have to reorder and start the process over again. I ordered from someone else.

I wish I could give negative stars. Ordered on 11/25. It is Dec 16 and still not received it. Customer service says it was picked up in Brooklyn!?!?!? What!?. Ask to speak to supervisor immediately. Says she will send an escalated email and some will get back to me within 48 hours. That is certainly not good customer service.

I'm a multi year customer of Dermstore having multiple purchases of skin care products, hair care products, lotions, and makeup. No issues until most recent purchase of 6 items made on 9/23/2021. 3 of 6 items received 9/25. Obtaining the remaining 3 items has been beyond frustrating and exhausting. I received automatic generated emails (with no option to reply( multiple times (9/26,9/29,10/5,10/6) stating my order was in the way. I emailed Dermstore via their online "help" 10/5 about missing items and received reply from "Meg" confirming my outstanding items were sent in a separate package. Received nothing & called customer service 10/21 and spoke for 10 minutes wherein I was told 1 of the 3 items was out of stock, and she would follow up, talk to supervisor, and I would receive confirmation email. Received no email, no contact, no products. Contacted customer service again via phone 10/28 & spent 13 minutes on phone wherein the woman stated nothing had been done with my previous call other than noting "1 item may or may not be in stock." I had asked to speak to a supervisor and was told none was available. The second customer service rep also said 1 of 3 items ordered was out of stock. I then asked if I could just receive a refund for the 3 items I had ordered 5+ weeks earlier and never received, and I was told she could not issue a refund, even though it was confirmed those 3 items were never sent. She then said all would be passed onto a supervisor, and guaranteed a phone call from a supervisor within 24 hours & a confirmation email. It's been 48 hours. No call, no email. My order is still listed as "processing." In the 5 weeks I've been waiting for the remaining items for which I have been charged to arrive, I have received 59 marketing/promotional emails from Dermstore…including 3 emails promoting "triple points" for 2 of the items (Olaplex hair care items) I haven't received, and the item said to be out of stock is Olaplex Conditioner was including in the promotion. I'm beyond frustrated and disappointed with Dermstore.

Placed a large order (over $500) in products from this company back in Dec. I still haven't received my items and every time I live chat, call or email I am told items are out for "dispatch" and order can't be canceled. I filed a report with BBB and I will be calling my credit card company to cancel transaction. Save your time and just buy product from trusted source. Their customer service isn't helpful at all. I was able to walk into Sephora and get exactly what I needed.

I spend thousands a year on skincare. I was excited to find dermstore and earn rewards but Dermstore cancelled my last four orders with zero explanation. So frustrating. I will never order from them again.

I've been a Beautyfix customer for years.
The quality and content of the contents has significantly decreased.
It's almost insulting now.
The company only puts 5 star reviews on their site and filters their Facebook comments.
Numerous complaints about never receiving orders, no refunds, horrible customer service.
Stay far away. Horrible company.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I purchased two products from Dermstore. One was backordered but I was charged for it. I never received the backordered item, and when I asked for my money back (three times) Dermstore claimed to have technical difficulties. I have spent a total of three hours on hold trying to reach someone, and sent three emails. Every time they are having technical difficulties. This company is a total ripoff!

Bought the olaplex gift set a month before Christmas. The order was delayed 3 times and ultimately cancelled about a week after Christmas. I got an automated email saying it's out of stock. When you go to their website... not only is it in stock, but Dermstore hiked up the price nearly $30. Unfair business practice and extremely shady. I emailed and they stated they will take it off the website but have neglected to do so.

Dermstore is my favorite spot for anything beauty! Dermstore have every authentic product you could ever want at the best prices. Ordering, shipping, and returns are all very easy.

What more can I say, this website is wonderful, fast, quality, good customer service, when it comes from ordering from them. You can feel good, and reassured placing a order with them. Packaged well, shipping is fast, would highly recommend.

Love the items delivered to me today. It has a fast shipping and affordable products. I am planning to buy more soon.

I see there are a lot of negative reviews on here about dermstore... I have ordered my skin care through them many times. Dermstore are one of the only places that I can find the products I use! I recently ordered product that was delivered incorrectly by the post office and I could not locate it. I called dermstore about the issue and they were quick to resend the product with no extra charge, and expedited the shipping for free. No company is perfect, but they did their best to help me out and I am very happy with that :)

I had my order held for some frivolous reason Dermstore couldnt explain to me sufficiently, after I called them to find out what was going on with my order (a week later) they said they would release the hold but I was so pissed off I had started searching for my products elsewhere. I found them for almost half the price on amazon so i called dermstore back immediately - literally within five minutes of making my inital call - so that I could cancel the order and they REFUSED! Claiming the items had already been processed for shipping? WHAT? So I am now lumped with these goods that are double the price when compared elsewhere and I have to wait twice as long to receive them.

Ridiculous! STAY AWAY FROM THEM. Customer service is terrible.

If you want something to arrive as promised, then look elsewhere.

Dermstore tout 3-day shipping. I placed an order for a gift on the Thursday the 4th. I called to double-check the delivery window and was told I would have the order on the 9th. They did not ship the order until the 9th - then LIED on the phone when I called looking for the order saying it was in the mail stream - when the tracking showed it was NOT. When I email them to ask for answers they respond that it will take 24 hours for a response - and no response ever comes.

If you ever need to call Customer Service... GOOD LUCK! Call twice, both times rude weren't able to help. Ask to speak to supersivor both times and it didn't happen plus Dermstore hanged up!

I wish I have read reviews before I had ordered from their website. I placed an order for an item and never received item 1 month later. When I try to track the item it says USPS is currently awaiting for item. I emailed them about my concern and it took awhile for them to re-issue me another item with another tracking number. Till now I have the same issue about USPS has not received item yet. Customer service is so slow everytime I email them it takes days or even a week for a reply. When I do get a reply, Dermstore never seem to address the issue about why my item has not arrived. Very disappointed and highly do NOT recommend this website unless you want your money to be stolen.

I now have to call the back to explain my issue with them.

I will not be placing another order from the Dermstore. Dermstore cancelled one of my orders, and it took 2 separate phone calls to get everything sorted out. I made 2 orders being shipped to 2 addresses- they said they cancelled one because they were being shipped to the same address, but when I checked my confirmation emails, this was not the case and the cancellation was their mistake. The customer service representative was rude and impatient- continually cutting me off and blaming me for the cancellation. Definitely not worth it!

I was trying to order few items ($100 +) from this site. The transaction didn't go through and Dermstore sent an confirmation email saying that the transaction didn't go through due to payment issues. I realized that I had input my card number wrongly. Created another dermstore account and ordered the items successfully. A week later they have now sent an email saying order is successful. I don't want another set of my order. Called and waited over 2 hrs in their customer service line several times. Their customer service number is a joke. HOW COULD THEY CHARGE MY CARD WITHOUT MY AUTHORIZATION is what concerns me. THIS COMPANY IS A BIG FRAUD.
