Return nightmare - Part III
Help! Help! Someone help!
I am being harrassed by this company! All I wanted was to return their UNDERSIZED jacket, get my replacement and move on with my life, but this company made their goal in life to harrass me... I just received another email from their CS ERICA stating that I have to pay extra U$80.00 if I want my jacket back.
Mind you that LeatherCult received The UNDERSIZED jacket back over a month ago, and now want me to pay EXTRA U$80.00 as they were hit with duties? What?
She received my jacket a while ago, contacted me a few times and NO mention of duties that they want ME to pay, suddenly, when I follow up, I get this message from them that I have to pay the duty fees... mind you that I followed their instructions and sent the UNDERSIZED jacket to this address in New York that they told me to ship to, and I have the email plus the receipt to show that I followed their instructions... yet they want another U$80.00 and are keeping my UNDERSIZED jacket as hostage.
I am SO sick and SO disgusted of this company. I don't think I will ever buy from another Indian company. I literally feel like throwing up every time ERICA emails

After months of back and forth I received an address in NY to send my jacket back and this company in NYwould take the jacket to India.
Finally I received confirmation the undersized jacket is in India. Shockingly they told me they would do a patching job using parts of the old jacket and putting new pieces in where it is (as proved by pictures) undersized. I told them that the ENTIRE jacket is too small and that is not what their return/exchange policy states (patching a jacket with pieces? - who would ever think of doing such a thing?. Ahhh a cheap and non reputable company would - now I know...). Then - they asked me for another U$80.00 for them to make a new jacket. - Wait, what? Now they have my jacket that I already paid $150 for (plus the shipping cost to NY) and they want another $80.00? I really had it with them and told their customer service Erica that I want my exchange or I will go to the Consulate general of India in Chicago as this company is harassing an American Citizen and they are now using extortion trying to get more money and holding my jacket back as a hostage at their place in India. This Erica woman said she will talk to her leadership to see what can be done... again, wait, what? She has been emailing me constantly and battling my return/exchange as if she is defending her own life and NOW she will talk to her Manager? I told her that I don't want talk to her any longer and for her to have her manager to contact me moving forward. I have not heard from them again.
Please be mindful that I tried calling them 3 times and can never get anybody on the phone, as it rings and no one picks up the call.
Please also know that I have all the emails back and forth with this NON REPUTABLE company that if you need an exchange they will NOT exchange, although they have money as (they sold more than 100,000 garments around the world, according to their own website) they act as if they have absolutely no money and can't afford a simple exchange.

I love leather things because it's the softest material as I think. Moreover, it looks very prestigious, because leather is a great indicator of your wealth. Of course, I write about natural leather. I got used to buy leather things because I can't bring accessories and handbags which aren't consist of leather. In my opinion, all people must strive for the life when LeatherCult wear only leather things. This service amazed me by the assortment provided here, there is a big variety of various things made from leather. I wish I could find this service earlier when I didn't have any idea where to buy leather things.

I received my jacket today and it is a perfectly fine jacket, but it was made up to an inch smaller than the size chart and unwearable. I am a professional tailor and certainly understand how to measure myself and adjust for wearing ease, but the armhole on this jacket is so tight I can't get it on. The shoulder and chest are also 1 1/2" smaller than advertised.

If you are brave enough to still try buying from them, maybe go with the completely custom measurements option? The only positive reviews I've seen are from people going that route. It was foolish of me to go with a "ready set" size, even though I bought a size larger than I usually wear.

I've been contacting customer service about the order and no ones response to my message. When I told them the burnt charcoal color is gray and someone got the nerves to it's different screen setting. I know for fact the color is way off, cause I work at e-commerce and the color correction needs to be on point or very close to the products you're showing online. Not for purpose design said one of the person that emailed me. And now no ones reply to email cause I demanded to speak to the manager or whoever in charge, everything went dark. That is so low and unprofessional and disgusting. LeatherCult doesn't even deserve a half star at all for being so weird about their misrepresentation of their products.

Absolutely horrendous final result: the cut of this so-called men's blazer was bizarre and not at all as depicted on their website! What I received was a ladies' jacket tailored by a company which clearly does not understand menswear. The actual suede is nice, but the garment is absolutely ridiculous: the lapels are far too short and the 2 buttons are placed far too high: totally unlike any normal men's sport coat. BEWARE!

I've purchased 2 leather jackets from Leather Cult and the first order took a while but with the virus and just after the holidays I understand. My last order just arrived and it was here much quicker. Both jackets fit perfectly(NOT special sizing). I will order again.

I was concerned with my first order because it took longer than I expected and it took a few days to get a response to my email but I did hear back and received my jacket soon after.

Wanted to order the dark red Rosie Huntington jacket. I emailed asking for more pictures of it. LC responded there were no other photos of this jacket. I had to make my decision even though Rosie is wearing a scarf over the jacket in all the pictures. I took a chance and ordered the Jennifer Aniston jacket and the Rosie jacket. LeatherCult are the SAME jacket! Why couldn't customer service refer me to the pictures of the Aniston jacket and tell me it was the same? There are much better pictures of it on Anistons page. I'm going to keep both jackets but had I known they were the same I wouldn't have ordered both. And to top it off, my invoice was clearly visible through the plastic envelope taped to the LC box when it was delivered. Anyone could read what was in the box & how much I was charged. I was livid. Completely unacceptable!

Didn’t refer me to more pictures of the jacket I inquired about- even though they were on the website under Jennifer Anistons jacket.

If you value or expect American style customer service do yourself a favor and run away from this company. LeatherCult will not make any adjustments due to wrong size, ill fitting, or refunds or exchanges of any kind. The coats/jackets seem to be a size or two smaller than the average size chart for Americans. Consider yourself warned.

I was told that their size chart was correct and apparently I did not order my correct size. I was further told that they do not offer refunds or exchanges.

The shipment came two days before the estimated date. Upon reception, the jacket was exactly as pictured, except for a slight difference in the zipper pull style. Made out of very quality leather, the jacket has proven itself so far a very practical, comfortable, and stylish article. It looks exactly like those worn by the Fab Four, and I wear it with Beatle boots and a turtleneck to complete the "look," yet it in no way resembles a costume. It is quite versatile, and can be worn with an appropriate sweater for a dressy look, or with a t-shirt for casual wear. It's hard to find a more classic, time-tested, and yet also contemporary style than the leather jacket. I heartily recommend this jacket to the tasteful dresser as an extremely affordable jacket worth more in style than its price.

I honestly wasn't sure this website was legit but after a friend had a good experience decided to give it a go. I ordered the Mass Effect jacket with custom measurements and it fits like a glove. All the details are correct and as advertised. I've seen a lot of bad reviews for this company out there but my experience was solid. Two thumbs up, absolutely love this jacket.

I had ordered a jacket previously that I requested additional length on trunk and sleeves, Erica from LeatherCult customer service contacted me to inquire if extra was requested on this order, it was not so I was surprised and comforted that LeatherCult wanted to make sure my request was accurate. To me, this shows that LeatherCult care.

Ordering my jacket was an easy process. Waiting and anticipating it's arrival was the hard part/. It was worth the wait. The jacket is beautiful. The fit is perfect. At my age it is hard to fit me with ordinary sizing, so custom made clothes are necessary. I couldn't be happier with the workmanship and overall design of this jacket. I would most certainly use Leathercult again.

Hi to all at Leathercult. This is my third coat I've ordered from you, and I love each one of them. The workmanship is excellent and the coats always fit me perfect. On this green coat I made my measurements a little bigger so I can wear a sweater underneath the coat, because where I live it's cold for six months of the year. I just received it and put it on over my sweater and it fits me great. A few days ago I ordered a coat for my daughter, and terry noticed a error we made in the measurements and emailed me his concerns the same day. Thank you terry because we took her measurements again and the first set was definitely wrong. I submitted the new measurements to you the next day. Now the coat is in production. All smiles from here. Have yourselfs a wonderful day.

You have a lot of nice choices, but not the exact one I love, so I'm going custom. My only problem is, at this moment, I'm not positive about how to get you the picture of what I want to replicate. I THINK I know, but I'm unsure. It would be nice if you gave customers a clue on how they'll get their design to you when LeatherCult want a custom jacket BEFORE they finalize the purchase.

I received my package a week earlier than I was supposed to, which was unexpected, but a very pleasant surprise. The quality of the pants surpassed my expectations, and LeatherCult are incredibly comfortable. I'm so glad I got them, and I will definitely be purchasing from here again! Before buying them I had some doubts, and was worried they wouldn‘t fit, or they would be too baggy... but nope, they were actually perfect! The customer service is also pretty fast, and thank you to Erica for answering all of my questions :)

I didn't see their size chart, so when I ordered, I ordered my size in American chart size. But when it came it was so small I don't believe it would fit a 10 year old. I tried to return it and get a refund, but LeatherCult said I selected my size and basically tuff. My size is a 36 bust and I had to reorder it in a 42. I believe my husband wears a 42 suit. I only reordered it because it's the only place I can get this style. They size according to their country, Asia.

They wouldn't work with me, the jacket didn't fit, they say tuff.

Delivery time was quick, only problem was with DHL LeatherCult were not good at 3 days late. Extremely happy with the product and the brand. I will purchase more from your company, the only problem was the jacket had an awfully strong chemical smell had to air it out hope the next one does not have that smell. Again extremely happy with what I received.

This jacket has changed the way I look at life. Can a jacket do that? You bet your sweet bippy.
I bought this baby to keep me safe from a puppy who was bitey as all hell and loved to frolic in mud and poop. To say the least I needed something bulletproof.
This jacket is not bulletproof. But puppy proof for sure. It's also pretty wind, rain, snow, nip and slip proof.
Gusseted arms allow for a solid range of motion. So quick movements are a piece of cake. P

Ive been looking around online for a real leather version of Leons jacket, and this has been by far the best find. I expected it to be nice but i didnt imagine it to be the softest sheepskin jacket ever felt. The shipping didn't take long and came by UPS, so i could track it. I got the Duties email very fast and paid so i could enjoy my jacket the day it came.
You know when you go to those expensive stores just to look at nice things then gawk at the price? You don't have to worry about the price here. You can tell the craftsmanship just from feeling the weight of the garment plus the hardware used. I had seen recreations of the jackets for 3x the price, but seriously am happy that I found LeatherCult.

In terms of fit, its perfect if you get your size. The size I ordered was Mens L. I order in mens usually since LeatherCult have larger shoulders and compensate for the ladies in the front without having to buy a larger size in womens and pay extra for it (Same with bras and whatnot). Im 5'4" so the arms are a bit longer on me, however i like that because i can use the sleeves for warmth.
This is a leather jacket so I don't recommend using it for winter unless your winter is above 15c/60F. I live in Canada this is more of a Spring and Fall jacket for me:)

Would I recommend this product? Yes yes yes. In the future I'm checking out the other jackets ;)

Received the jackets within the approximate time frame, however both jackets were cut too short, do not look or feel right, the M-65 jacket had the chest pockets mounted way to high to be functional or look right. Furthermore it didn't have a hood, just a zipper mounted to make it look like it did and to top it off the leather is very thin. These people have clearly never actually seen or handled an M-65, let alone worn one. LeatherCult just saw a picture or two and went off of that. As for the other jacket, they apparently thought that the inclusion of a waist size meant to cut the jacket OFF at the waist. The other thing is that it is obvious that these people do not work in inches, despite their web site requesting measurements in inches. Very disappointed I fell for this and since there was no return information with the shipment, I now have to figure out how to get a refund.

I have been eyeing your site for months! What draws me in to buy now with sites that I am not familiar with is reviews. This has become weird territory with weird fake reviews of course. After researching your company I felt more comfortable but customer image reviews would have helped expedite my purchase (and potential future purchases). Adding customer images to a review functionality would be amazing! Everything else looks great.

I ordered leather samples to help me decide on the material I wanted to use for a leather blazer. I was impressed with the level of professionalism in the delivery of my samples. This helped me to decide to move forward with and actually purchase the blazer. Haven't received it yet, but at least I know what the leather looks and feels like. The colors of the leather samples did NOT match the colors on the computer screen very well. I would strongly recommend getting the samples to ensure you get the color and material you're looking for.

Your product is amazing. The jackets seem to be cut well, the materials are good and the many options are wonderful. However, the checkout process is not great. I thought I ordered this jacket twice without the payment working, it finally worked on the third time but I lost over a month to sitting around waiting for a jacket to come that wasnt coming, I had no idea there was a problem. I don't see why you can't have normal merchant services, your product is not high risk, there are many affordable and highly user friendly payment gateways available now... A better payment method at the end and some site modernization could take you a long ways because you offer a great product for the money, I'll probably buy all my leather jackets from you for now on if this next one is good like the last one.
