If I could give no stars, I would.
It has been nothing but trouble from the go.
I had initially booked flights well in advance, but didn’t receive a confirmation of my booking, even though the money had left my account.
I finally got through to someone who confirmed my flight bookings and I was initially happy with the service.
Then, the flight out was cancelled and had to be rebooked. We changed the flights and then the return flight was cancelled.
By this time, I was considering cancelling the flight, but would have lost £100. I went ahead with a return flight for a day later than planned, booked a hotel, only to have this flight cancelled.
I am still waiting for confirmation for another flight, but after being on the phone for between 30-60 minutes, my calls keep getting dropped.
I have tried to send emails, but not heard back yet ff Lisa Jane or Eddie Cooper to find out whether we still have flights. I have been on the phone for over 3 hours today and got nowhere. Just rude customer service who put me on hold then drop the calls. It’s really put a downer on what was supposed to be a special one night stopover in London. We would have actually travelled by train, but it wasn’t possible to book tickets at the time, due to disruptions in the services.
When you get stuck making your booking, Travelup is the way to go. They first listen to where you got stuck and then one step at a time the problem is unpicked. I especially liked the fact that I was told that I did not need to rush when I was filling in some details online and it was taking me a while. The operative, a Mr. Samer Akhter told me he would be there for me so not to worry -just take my time. And when I made a mistake and had to start again, it was as if that was not a problem. Talk about being "mega-patient!" That is what he was - patient. He also waited to ensure that I received the confirmation email. I believe I got the best price available as he double-checked my flying preferences. All in all, I was very pleased with the service offered by Samer Akhter.
I understand there are some negative review, so when I got message from BA that my return flight got cancelled, I was in a bit panic as the phoneline was far too busy and very long que waiting. So I decided to send an email to request a new flight.
I was so impressed by the speed of response, within 24 hours , I got a reply and got an offer of alternative flight without any problem. Supper smooth and excellent service. So maybe use email will be a better option. I will definitely recommed Travelup with confident . Their price is very competative as well. Thank you for your support.
We've used Tavelup to book our flights to Doha and back from Dubai, as they could guarantee a cheaper price than going directly to the flight provider. Unfortunately, our flights both to and from our holiday have been cancelled and rescheduled at different times; this doesn't impact our outward journey but, as we have a flight connection on the way back, causes issues. Lisa Jane was both helpful and professional when dealing with our flight change and has changed our final connecting flight to suit the new flight times, free of charge. Thank you so much!
I want to take the time to thank Lisa Jane so so much for her assistance after BA cancelled my flights. I was panicking so much and she was just so calm and reassured me that she would be able to rebook my flights which she did in such a short period of time! She really went above and beyond to assist me. She sorted this all out so professionally and showed that she cared about my situation. She kept me up to date through the process and called me directly to advise me once all was sorted and emailed my new details immediately. I wish more companies had people like Lisa Jane.
BA cancelled 1000's of flights for the summer. This must have created a crazy work load for Travelup. I imagine the margins are very tight, and BA's unilateral action would have blown those to hell.
So I call Travelup to sort out the reticketing. 60 people in the queue. Estimated wait time 51 minutes. But the queue moves much faster. Travelup instead of blaming "unprecedent demand", must have thrown additional staff at it. I am speaking to a human within 10-12m. The advisors name is Muhammad Ibrahim. He must have been having a tricky day. Very polite and professional. Within another 10m, he tells me what I need to do, and about 12 hours later I (and the whole family) are all reticketed on alternative flights.
While a bit of a crisis, and far from ideal, I think Travelup did an excellent job in managing a crisis foisted on them by BA and Heathrow.
I booked accomodation through travel up for the first time. The process was simple and their competitive pricing made it extremely tempting. The only point I was not comfortable was that travelup at times uses third party booking suppliers where they have little or no control over.
I contacted Travelup re my issue and was aided by Faraz who was right on the ball and extreamly helpful. His communication with me was consistent and prompt. He was able to solve my issue re third party within 48 hours. That’s impressive. Thank you Faraz at Travelup. I would use travelup again without hesitation. Thank you Faraz.
We wanted to give our sincere appreciation for the exceptional customer service that Nash Davies provided. We book our family vacation with Travel up and when I tried to check in for the flight British Airways said my daughter’s reservation didn’t have a ticket attached to the reservation. After 3 hours on the phone with the airline ,I was getting no where so I decided to call travel up and spoke with Nash, who listen was so reassuring, and was willing to help. He stayed on the line while I called the airline back and waited with me until they answered. Nash then provided the airline with the ticket /reservation information and ensured that I would not have any issues at check in. If it wasn’t for Nadh I don’t think they would have allowed my daughter to travel. Thank you Nash Davies!! Your are a great asset to the Travel up team.
We booked our flights to Orlando with Travel Up but when the first leg of our outbound flight was cancelled we tried to get in touch. We called and emailed many times but couldn't get through to anyone to help and no-one replied to our emails. Finally after big uncertainty for 10 days I finally got through to Kyle Roberts who rebooked our flights whilst I was on the phone. It is a shame that our flights couldn't have been sorted out within a day or two of them being cancelled rather than causing unnecessary stress/worry and not knowing what was happening with our flights. Travel Up should have called us rather than us repeatedly having to chase them to find out what was going on.
I thought I did this on the first email, but I truly don’t mind as this one seems more thorough. Regarding customer support, I couldn’t be more pleased. I kept running into a problem trying to pay my deposit, getting a notice that my bank was decking the payment. For a second time I called, as the first time the call would go through. This time I was greeted by Sara Martin who made the payment process so much easier and told be exactly that me balance, plus the $7.95 convenience fee had to be paid by August 12. She instilled confidence with the process and has made me a new customer thank you for that and for Sara.
Clearly, I am impressed with Travel Up’s pricing, the ease for find places and dates, and more.
I made a hotel reservation on 6/24 (total cost ~$985 for 3 days) i found out my mother tested positive for covid so i had to cancel my reservation which i did on that very same day 4 hours later. They charged me a $448 cancellation fee. It's worth mentioning the reservation was done 8 days in advance. Completely unacceptable. I travel a lot for business and never had to deal with such a greedy cancellation policy especially for people experiencing a hardship. I advice anyone reading this to stay away from doing business with this company. It might be cheap but it will cost you in long run if you run into any issues or hardships.
I was skeptical about booking with Travel Up due to some negative reviews, but I can honestly say that everything went perfectly with our booking. We booked a room at the Nickelodeon Resort in Punta Cana with Travel Up at a substantial savings over booking through the resort directly. Communication was good with prompt replies to all my emails. Mario Eric was my original contact and did a great job. We were greeted at the resort and everything was in order. I will definitely use Travel Up again without hesitation. Thanks for the great service to the whole Travel Up team.
I went to book this online but needed to call as I got stuck when I tried to add and infant, who is not yet born, so I couldn't add her details to the booking. I called to simply enquire as to how I go about this. I was told that they could do this for me no problem ..... I then spent an hour on the phone trying to book the specific flight I had spent all morning finding. I was first advised that I could fly direct from the UK to Australia with no stop over (something I know to only be offered by Quatar and I was flying with BA) and had to jump through several hoops to get back to the original booking I was trying to do. Ultimately the process took an hour instead of 5 minutes and I still couldn't book on my infant. I had done previous research which mentions having different seat allocation for adults travelling with infants and so when I asked if there was any way of assuring I will have the correct seats I was repeatedly told to not worry and and they will sort it later and it isn't an issue but with no real explanation as to why this won't be an issue. The last 2 minutes of the call then consisted of being told that I wouldn't receive my e-ticket until I do this review and specifically name Junaid & Alex. I have no idea why they would press so hard for a review which was not going to be good but he was very insistent about it also to the point of being quite rude. Fingers crossed I receive my e-ticket and I can add my infant at a later date, whilst also getting the correct seat allocation. I don't hold high hopes but I'm drained from the whole experience and hoping for the best. I would advise against calling at all costs and just do this online!
Our flight has been cancelled with BA and anytime I needed help after a bit of a waiting time my call has been answered by a customer service assistant but none of them was as helpful as Muhammad Ibrahim. He didn't told me to "ok I'll send an email to this and that and we will call you back..." he straightaway called another airline to make sure that my family and me has the flight confirmed and he sent me the tickets in 5 minutes. I'm really glad that you guys sorted out so quickly.

I was a bit trepidatious. And it started painfully (I don’t know my phonetic alphabet!) but Tajir Sanjay helped me. I’d called because I’m searching for flights to Vancouver I couldn’t easily find ones that were changeable without fee and that had hold luggage. So I was wasting a lot of time on line. He helped me find direct and non direct flights then we exchanged emails to verify name etc and pay whilst I was still on the phone. Took a while but we’ll spent. He was very helpful so now I just have to hope the ticket comes and it’s trouble free
Sana is a godsend. She was the ONLY person who was able to resolve my issue with my cancelled booking due to a mistake made by a Travelup agent.
Sana effortlessly and efficiently familiarised herself with the situation and implemented an action plan to refund fully my failed booking.
Sana is a complete gem in Travelup and should be recognised corporately on how to deal with matters.
Her customer service experience is a perfect model on how to deal with customers who have had to deal with issues based on mistakes from sales agents.

Lisa Jane the call handler really worked hard in finding the right and most suitable flights for me and gave me live options of various flights by email so I could check the most suitable flights for my needs and all I had to fo was to reply on that email so she could book that flight. I was most impressed by the speed with which she got the flight options and I quickly booked the flight most suitable for me within minutes. Been a frequent flyer, I haven’t come accross this sort of efficiency do I would definitely recommend Travelup, Most impressed. Thanks Lisa
It was a long and difficult process caused, apparently, by systems problems with the airlines. Couldn't do it on line as the website it repeatedly said there was a system issue after I'd typed all the personal info in, attempted to pay by card etc. So I phoned you. Was cut off after your recorded messages the first time but got through ok the second time. Got there eventually but the call took almost an hour before we successfully completed the booking. The guy helping me - Junaid Ansar - was very helpful, patient and polite and he made it all happen eventually. Must be a tough job for those guys if every trip is so difficult to book and you need to look at why it should take so long to complete the booking and why the online system just didn't work.
My experience with Travelup has been very good. I booked good value flights to the USA with connecting flights also. The airline cancelled and changed all my flights leaving very poor or non existent transfer times. I called Travelup and was told to email them the details. They responded within a few hours which was appreciated as our first flight was within a 48 hours. Travelup emailed options, then on request, called me with further alternatives. All new flights were sorted and booked by the end of a short and efficient call. I would use them again.
If it wasn’t for this amazing man; Kyle Roberst, and Ash Gibbs, my husband would have lost his ticket on that specific date to be with his family for his nephews’ wedding. After multiple attempts of calling and speaking with customer service and sales reps, it was only these two great, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful and understanding gentlemen who patiently listened to my complaints and assisted me with my husband’s flight ticket. I hope the TravelUp company pays you what you deserve to be paid, because you both deserve a raise and award for your great assistance to travelers. It was a pleasure to work with you and best of luck to both of you.
