I found Supermarket Italy while looking for a specific product from Italy which I found as well as a huge variety of imported products from various location. The website worked without any glitches up to and including the whole checkout process. Everything was delivered in a timely manner packaged very carefully. No way any one item would have broke or been damaged without the whole box being run over or something close.

I came across this site as i was looking for gluten free products. The gluten free pasta is outstanding, my family prefers the Le Veneziane pasta over the typical wheat based pasta. I bought a bunch of this in bulk as the price was good and you get a discount after buying so much. You have the best product and it is always fresh! Love the points!... I recd my coffee and although it really was on special... the expiration date of my 10+ packages was Jan 2022! My late summer purchase of 2021 of this same coffee had expiration dates of May 2022. I love this coffee but am the only coffee drinker in my family. I will be drinking expired coffee for at least 9 months. I was very disappointed. I did not notice a note about expired coffee for the special price, nor did I think to look for one.

My husband only will use DeCecco Olive Oil and I normally order it through our local Walmart (SupermarketItaly.com use a third party to supply it) because none of the local grocery stores (Giant, Redners, Wegmans, Acme, ShopRite carry this brand of olive oil. Well, my order from Walmart was undeliverable because it was dropped by delivery person and olive oil destroyed. So I let my fingers to the walking on the computer and found your website and since you handle what seemingly is a treasure trove of Italian and European products, I thought I give your company a try. I was blessed this past week's end with an early screening of Pig starring Nicolas Cage, my spirit animal. Exquisite film. It showed the same highest bar quality that the rich and rare fruit of the earth truffle shows those divinely blessed enough to seek and feed upon its rich and musky reward. I had always been curious and aware but had not up to this point did any real dedication to procuring, that is until a Google search led me to your store. I'll be a customer as long as you are open. During pandemic, it was not always easy to get specialty products, specially when we couldn't physically go to local stores, as online order through local stores seemed to be limited in variety of what we could get.
Now I can go to local stores, but still order specialty items which are not offered at local stores.
Supermarket Italy has many options to choose from with reasonably priced. That's the reason we still order from them.

One of the item was missing in the package delivered. Upon contacting the customer service, SupermarketItaly.com responded in a timely manner and explained that the missing product was shipped separately due to being perishable.

So thrilled to find the marmalade I wanted when my local market ran out of Bono Sicilian Marmalade. Reasonably priced, and the shipping cost was amazingly low. I don't have an Italian market anywhere near me, which made me sad until I found SupermarketItaly. SupermarketItaly.com have a great selection, the shipping is fast (I recommend ordering enough for free shipping which makes me feel like I'm stealing at that point) and the products are packaged with such care. My wife also noticed right off the bat how well they pack everything so you get everything safe (and fresh).

I bought my coffee and didn't apply the discount they were offering correctly so I was charged full price (my fault). They took care of it in minutes. Great job, as usual.

I got a bit surprised when I received a tracking number that said "Delivery cancelled by Sender".
No additional communication was available, so after the weekend, I made several attempts to contact the store via chat and telephone. The hours listed don't seem to be accurate. I finally got a live person, who explained that there was a problem with the shipping address, which was being corrected.
Everything arrived as expected, so I will give them another chance but not until after the holidays.

I received my order and the package was smashes and kinda soggy. The boxes of pasta inside were smashed and pasta spilled out of the individual boxes into the large package nd spilled everywhere. Customer service was excellent and very helpful and responded within minutes. Love this company

Shipping is a bit on the slow side, although packaging is impecable. On the other hand your selection and choice of products is excellent, therefore, worth the waiting. Prices are also correct, even compared with Amazon! BTW, I will buy from you people 1000 times over them. It's not a question of price only, but of trust, meaning it's clear to me that you do know about the provenance and the intrinsic quality of every article you offer. That factor is absent on Amazon, or with many other Internet high-end food vendors.

I have made bread with the Antimo Caputo 00 flour and when I served it at dinner my daughter thought I had purchased the bread and wanted to know where I found it. It was that good!

I was actually checking the price of the Dolce and Gabbana regular panetone but I felt that was too expensive. So I saw this other brand listed online and thought I would try it. I have never purchased one like this online. I buy a proximately five or six each year from the local supermarket. A regular brand in a gold and red box that has been around for years. I just made my second order from this website, and the food was all fantastic. My daughter is pretty picky, and she wants to eat noodles from here with a little olive oil and only the special flower salt every single day! The shipping is super fast and it came from out of my country. The items that were suppose to be cold, were delivered super cold. All the items were packed the very best, and I got free shipping! Trying to order a gift card and have it emailed to someone else is problematic. Emailed customer service and was told to put the recipient in the ship to address... could not put in their shipping address unless I ordered something so I order something thinking what the hell... free shipping now. Except it added shipping... lol. Reverted back to me and I'll email it to them... looks like some lovely and fun things on here... wish us luck it goes smoothly forward... haha

I'm on the complete opposite side of the states and was amazed how fast I received my package. From the minute I order, I was sent emails informing me of the process in my delivery schedule. It was being packaged, it was sent out for delivery, FedEx received the package, FedEx was now in process of delivery, etc... until it reached my doorstep and I received a text. I had my order with 5 days, from New Jersey to Arizona. The way SupermarketItaly.com packages my products with such great care was extremely impressive and much appreciated. I'm a happy customer and plan to order from them again!

I ordered 2 boxes of Lavazza expresso capsules (100 each) thinking SupermarketItaly.com were the ones compatible with my Nexpresso machine. I opened one and found out they were not compatible with Nexpresso. I contacted customer service and was told 1 can only return the box that was not opened. I have to send it back by my choice of carrier and then I have to make sure to send them the track number so I can be refunded. This is not easy returns.

Ordering was seamless, delivery was as fast as can be hoped for. I thought I hadn't gotten an order confirmation so I called customer service. Someone actually spoke to me! That alone deserves huge praise. The rep suggested I check junk mail (duh!), and sure enough I had my confirmation, tracking number, and the knowledge that my package was arriving the next day. Why do all of my shipments have issues. Today you sent me an email asking if I've received the shipment. Shouldn't you know that info? Then I get a notice that the order is out for delivery. So I wait at home this evening and the truck doesn't stop. Maybe you should switch to UPS Ground. This is a repeat of my experience with your company. I love the products but how can I order perishable items with such long delivery times and lost shipments.

I have searched for La Florentine forgone for SO long. The nougat in the boxes with Saints were always in my stocking along with an orange and walnuts. The flavors are a perfect reminder of my father (born in 1917) and my Italian heritage: enduring, delightful, and memorable. I am utterly thrilled to have found them and to pass on the tradition of torrone at Christmas to my son's who are proud Italian -Americans.

No notice was ever sent that this order even shipped. I ordered this on Jan 2,2022 and toda is the 20th. You don't answer emails. Your phone line doesn't work, your voicemail box is full, and there is no one manning your chat. I finally filed a dispute with PayPal testy. I am sorry, but your customer service and especially your communication is very bad.

I live in Calif. And am a customer because of the unique and high quality products SupermarketItaly.com sell. Things I cannot even buy here and if I can in most cases at a lower price and quickly delivered directly to my house! I love their selections and sale items I can't go wrong and neither can you. 1) Sorting for vegetarian or vegan items yields 19 products, but you have way more than that. And the vegetarian or vegan option doesn't display from the specialty diets drop-down menu at the top. Also, for vegans, mixing in vegetarian with vegan isn't helpful. 2) I need to be able to read ingredients lists and nutrition facts labels for products I might be interested in.

Saw their ad on Facebook. Wanted to help small business. Went to their website. Ordered over $50 of their food- nothing outrageous-- all readily available. SupermarketItaly.com had my money in 2 minutes. Next day received an email acknowledging order, but no delivery date. I emailed twice, asking for delivery date. Response was "... maybe in 10 days..." Finally delivery came- packaged very un-professionally. Food was warm. The chunk of speck had white specks under the wrapping. The paper ingredient list was old falling apart paper. Have not eaten any because it may be bad. Never ever again-- these people cheat OLD CRIPPLED LADIES.

I could not check out because there was no pay or check out button. You didn't answer the phone. After 15 minutes, Shakira answered the "chat" message and told me to shrink the screen, which finally made the checkout button appear. Not having a clear checkout or "place order" button appear at the end of the shopping cart screen is terrible programming and terrible for your business.

Great products - but the checkout is cumbersome at best. Even telling me I couldn't charge because it didn't believe I was using a real zip code. It's the main post office in my city's zip code. - luckily I found paypal payment option. That wasn't easy to find either... So I was able to complete my purchase. - The zip you software is saying doesn't exist is 92607. Please correct it to allow it.
