BEWARE!
I scheduled an appointment online on Tuesday, 10/25, for pickup of a mattress & box spring. The appointment was scheduled for Saturday, 10/29, between 8 & 12. On Thursday, the 27th, I received a text from LoadUp asking if they could do this on Friday, the 28th. I told them as long as we could have them pick it up at 5PM it was okay. Then at 12:50 AM I get a text on Friday, the day that the set was supposed to be picked up, saying "Hello, I am coming today for a mattress". This is at 12:50 AM! I messaged back at 7:01 AM saying "yes it is a mattress & box spring. He then started asking for pictures and if I needed a receipt. I told him that I was getting ready to leave the house and really did not have time to take pictures but I did. He then told me he cannot make it and someone else was coming out. I then started getting really suspicious and told him not to text me again. He then started saying he did not do anything wrong and that no-one would show up for the job and that it will not hurt his 5 star rating. Well, he was right. No one showed up on Friday or Saturday. I was the one that had to text and ask if someone was coming.
This company is strictly run by the internet. No phones. They sub out the work so you do not know who is coming to your home. Now this person has my address & name - scarry! When I asked for a manager to call me, got no call. Not a coincidence someone named "Linda" left a good review the day they sent me a text asking me to leave a review. I was waiting until after the job was complete to leave a review. This tells me their so called 5 star-rating is self-generated. If you look a little deeper, they have 3.5 starts at most. BEWARE!

This bad review is not the company’s fault, but the fault of the loader named James that no showed on the day of pick up and went unresponsive. The help center very kindly rescheduled for first thing the following morning, and to all of our surprise the same loader who no showed and went unresponsive the first day, accepted the job and was unresponsive the second day as well. The company canceled the order and gave me a full refund. It’s a shame that there are horrible contractors out there who accept a job on one end and refuse to actually follow through and go unresponsive. It’s unfortunate that I can’t rate the loader and company separate. But if anyone gets James (his voicemail just says JR) assigned to them for a pick up, call the help center and request a new loader, as James will not show and will not answer his phone.

I understood that my appointment had to be rescheduled due to rain. The new appointment gave me a time of 8-12 via email. The driver spoke to my husband the previous day and said 11-1. Every time we called we were told within the hour…within the hour. We paid for them to pick it up inside. However when they arrived at 3 something, my husband moved it out so it could be outside. I will never use this service again nor recommend it. I would say it was not money well spent. Very disappointed!!!!

I put in an order to pick up a sofa. The first window that was confirmed was for 12 hours - 8am to 8pm. No one came to pick up the sofa. Customer service apologized and reschedule for the next day, window 12pm-4pm. Again, no call, no one came to pick up the sofa. Customer service asked for another chance and promised someone would come. Another day another window 12pm-4pm. again no call and no one came to pick up the sofa. Customer service promised they would not let me down and would handle it if I gave them one more chance. I did, today 12pm-4pm window. No one called, so I followed up to get the contractor's number. Called. It is just over an hour before the window closes and the driver seemed to think could just come later and pick it up outside the house (no clue), and is over an hour and 20 minutes away from my house. There is no active number to call to speak with customer service, texts are very slow response time and no refund or accountability for no shows. Feels like a scam as I paid in full but have yet to receive any service and have given Load Up many opportunities to make good on their contract. Customer service has yet to return my call despite many messages asking them to call me via text and their call center. There is no live chat function on the website. It is a dead link.

waited all day they finally came around two guys in a pickup truck and they only took one couch i had two pieces a love seat and couch thats what the site saids they were going to take both but the driver said only i was expecting a big truck with the name on it not professional at all i told everyone i know not to use your site or company and i am never going back to them again

Michael is continuous worker took the time to ensure I was satisfied with the height of adjustable bed explained the functions of the bed. he took all trash out of my home, large boxes, plastic wrappings etc. I can't say thank you enough Load up for professional workers sent out to service me. "The price was right" removal of old bed and assemble of new one. North Charleston, SC

LoadUp was able to schedule me the very next day during a window of time that worked best with my busy schedule. Adam from LoadUp came over promptly to dispose of some old furniture. He single-handedly took care of all my furniture up and down two flights of stairs. He was extremely professional and worked super fast. The whole transaction took place under an hour. LoadUp took care of something I’d been stressing over for months. I’m very impressed and will definitely use this company again!

First of my service got rescheduled twice and then the Loader that arrived, Christoph, only did the disposal part of the job and said that he cannot do the assembly portion since he does not know how to. And then he had the audacity to ask my dad for $75 when I clearly paid for everything online. My dad didn't know the service was already paid since it was suppose to be a surprise gift. When my dad confronted him he started swearing at him and threatening my dad. Feared for his safety, he decided to give him the $75 since he knew where my dad lives. I contacted customer service about the incident but all they did was reschedule the job while they still have this conniving Loader not completing the task and taking advantage of people. So we decided to just cancel it and do the job ourselves.

If I could give 0 stars I would. If you like in their 60 mile radius they probably would be great for you but if you live outside their normal limits then your pretty much screwed. I scheduled with them a month in advance for them to pick up a bed and foundation they gave me confirmation that they’d be there in that date, I took off work and no one showed up, after I took a whole day off work for this, and of course they don’t take calls they make you leave a message and then someone texts you… then said sorry we couldn’t find someone we tried to call you the night before.. I never received a call.. then rescheduled for another day and I had to reach out to them again the night before and they said sorry we couldn’t find anyone to come pick it up again. This company sucks!!!! All big companies that need a truck company to pick up for them don’t use these people their horrible. After I complained the first time they should have made someone come get my stuff. So I missed work for two days because of them. You guys ask that if we need to cancel or reschedule to give you guys 24-48 hrs notice.. maybe y’all should take your own advice!

This business and service was not at all what I expected. The original driver was a no call no show. The second driver showed up with no warning. The item that was being picked up was broken as they removed it from my home. Then, after this business advertised that they try to keep things out of landfills and they try to find a place to donate items, the workers threw the items (furniture) in my apartment complex's trash compactor. I could have done that myself and saved the money. When I presented this information to their customer service department I was told that they couldn't give me a refund or do anything because I didn't have pictures. The sad thing is that I wasn't looking for a refund, I only wanted the company to do the right thing. I don't recommend this company. Their service and customer service is atrocious.

Load Up reached out to me for mattress removal because California law supposedly requires store to offer it free within the 30 days of purchase of a new bed. Well, I scheduled just fine but then there driver did not come at the allotted time between 8-12. He didn’t make it until 5:30 pm and then when he arrived, he dragged the bed through the dirt all the way to the edge of the driveway and then left it there claiming it was too soiled for him to take and it was in the policy. You destroy the bed more than what it was then you say you can’t take it and make it harder for me to bring it back into my home because it’s all filthy and has debris over it. So much for this being a service to residents if you don’t even care how the bed is treated because you don’t want it. If he would have inspected it before he moved it, I wouldn’t be so bad but that’s one hell of a process to show up late, mistreat the bed and then leave it worst than what it was.

I usually don't write reviews, but I had to describe the wonderful service that LoadUp provided. It was easy to itemize everything to get a quote and to also book the service. Alan and his other guy called prior to their arrival time to confirm the appointment. They were very professional and efficient! They disassembled and moved out the furniture in 30 minutes. I am so glad that I found this service and I will definitely be booking them again in the future! Thank you!

I had scheduled the company on the 29th of May to pick up some books and DVDs on June 4th between 4 and 8 pm. for 100.00 dollars. Nobody showed up. Got a text after 8 pm saying they will pick up the next day. Was told on Sunday that it that they were going to charge me extra for each box or bags of books. Stay Away!!

I did read some reviews here and was hesitant at first, but i had a 65inch projection tv that died and needed haul removal. I ordered a pick on a friday for pick-up the next day Saturday from 8am to noon. The driver came a bit later than noon which is understandable, but they kept me informed via text and email when they picked up the tv on my driveway. Thanks LoadUp and the drivers!

Scheduled a mattress pick up for Thursday between 0800-1200. No updates on the online tracking, had to reach out to customer at 12:30 to confirm ETA and was told driver was delayed. Phone number listed for driver was shut off but was told they would contact driver and advise. Never able to contact driver so we rescheduled for next day. You'd figure if it was rescheduled due to company fault they would find a driver for first thing AM pick up. 8:30 on Friday rolls around and I'm told nobody has accepted the pick up and they are still working on getting someone out. Cancelled and went with another company who already has an ETA for today. Wasted 2 days off waiting for someone to show who never was going to.

🚩 🚩 🚩 BE WARNED!!!! Stay away from this company at all cost!!! Not worth the hassle. I had placed an order for pick up for my items 18 days prior to the day of pick up. The morning of the pick up I was told that my loader had another commitment and would not be coming. Then I was rescheduled for the afternoon in which they never showed up again. I was then promised that they would be there the next morning and again they canceled. By this time we had to move out of our apartment and we were again promised that they would come following the holiday weekend when our apartment manager was willing to let them in. As you could guess they never came. Today is now six days from my original pick up date and I still have not had my items picked up. So I am facing a fine from my apartment as not having my items removed because the services I paid for never were fulfilled. PLEASE stay clear of this company, save yourself the time and trouble and find a local trustworthy company. It has become frustratingly comical at this point as they have rescheduled and promised pick up 5 times to no avail.

Booked a mattress removal from my apartment about a month in advance, in preparation for an interstate move. Partner called the day before to try to confirm exact time (we were given a window of 8 am - 12 pm upon booking) and was told to call back the day of. The morning of pickup, he left early (we were no longer staying at the apartment, but about a 20 minute drive away) to be at our apartment by 8 am. He called again at 9 am and reached the woman who would be picking up our mattresses. She seemed unaware that she had our pickup that day, mentioning she had received confirmation of the request a month ago but hadn't been tracking it in her schedule for the day. She said she could come, noting it would likely only be at 12:30 pm, and asked if my partner could move the mattresses outside for her to more easily pick up, even though we had specifically paid for movers to come into the apartment to take the mattresses out for us.. NOT an ideal situation to have to micromanage a service like this, especially one booked well in advance and coming in the midst of an already hectic move. Would not recommend this company to others.

I have never seen anyone take more care of my house, walls and furniture than Nancy and her crew. They perfectly took my treadmill down stairs and through a turn without ever touching the wall. On time, friendly and even protected my baby from getting in the way and potentially hurt. I would give 10 if I could

Ovidio and his partner called a half hour before they came. They were very efficient taking apart old bed and setting up new bed. The Load Up Service was well worth the money it cost. I would definitely use again when needed. I was very satisfied with the service. It made my life much easier. Thank you!

I was referred by Avocado Mattress to remove my old queen size mattress/2 twin size box springs prior to the Avocado mattress/foundation base delivery. LoadUp was amazing, they were very informative with their communications (confirmed the removal/pickup date, indicating the driver's name (Jesus) who I would be expecting at my home with a time. Jesus and Melissa arrived exactly on time they said they would to my house. Jesus and Melissa were professional, friendly and were very careful in moving out the old mattress/box springs. I would definitely use LoadUp again in the future for removal of furniture and highly recommend them to friends and family. THANK YOU Jesus and Melissa.

Nicer interface & more user friendly and straightforward than other services I’ve used. Had a great pick up experience. The driver communicated with me throughout the pick up window re: his pick up time & ETA. Very polite and careful.
The only reason I’m not giving five stars is because the first driver I was assigned yesterday backed out at the last minute so today was a reschedule with someone else. Would definitely use this service again.
