I purchased three barstools from Goedekers, all in the same color (Ruby faux gray leather), and one of the three was sent in black instead of gray. I wished to return the full set therefore, as Goedeker's do not work for my kitchen. I spent 10 (TEN) phone calls with their customer service representatives, provided them 7 different times with all the pictures needed (all boxes front and back, all chairs, etc-- as attachments, as links, everything) and filled out tickets x3, sent 8+ emails, ALL TO NO AVAIL. After 2 weeks of using my precious time on this, the woman on the phone charged me $90 to return the chairs, AND told me I have to lug the chairs to a return facility, even though it was NOT MY MISTAKE. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I have never experienced anything like it.

Goedeker's charged me 4000 dollars and never shipped my item. They told me they would call me back on five occasions but never did so. I still don't have my fridge that I ordered in May (and they charged me for in May!) STAY AWAY. You'll never get your product and you'll lose hours of your life trying to get your money back.

Horrible Customer Service and no accountability
I purchased an appliance in April. I selected an item that was in stock - but it actually was not. 3 months later I still don't have the product, and all I hear from Goedker's is "due to circumstances beyond our control"... Goedeker's have not been able to provide any information that would provide me with any insights on when I might expect the product.

Worst customer service I have experienced. Read from a scrip, not helpful, and non responsive. I have been waiting a year for a refrigerator. Though I completely understand the world shortage of components and logistics challenges, I have been told several ship dates that never happed and when the ship date came and went, i would have to contact them for them... just for them to give me another ship date which was 2 months later. This happened Every time I contacted them. Then Goedeker's told me it was available but wouldn't ship for another 2 months. I asked to speak to a manager several times, they said someone would get in touch with me in 24 to 48hrs and that never happened. They have no answers and do not even pretend to care. Still am no closer to getting any information than I was a year ago.

Good experience
Had good experience shopping there. Customer service was okay. Delivery arrived on time and in good condition.

Deceitful Practices :/
I am SO upset. After searching multiple stores, I had ordered a range on May 10 from this company that had advertised a good price and the earliest delivery date. The first deceitful practice was promising something Goedeker's could not fill - That date was changed SIX TIMES. That was frustrating enough, but I knew at least part of the situation was out of their hands as the order was backordered from the manufacturer, so I tried to be patient.

June 30 I logged into my account for an update and the status had finally changed to say "Your items have arrived and are preparing to ship. You will receive tracking information shortly." I was so excited! I sent a message to confirm and was told "Yes your order is ready to ship! You will receive a email when this order ships out followed by tracking, you should receive that email in the next few days." So we wait... days went by, followup messages were ignored. Yesterday I called and was told over the phone it was in the warehouse and they ship to Ohio on Thursdays, so would be leaving either this week or next. Somewhat irritated, but at least the end was finally in sight, right?

Well... last night (conveniently AFTER business hours so I could't reach someone), I get an email stating it was "on backorder" and "expected to ship on: 08-10-2021." WHHAT?!?!?!? I emailed. I FB Messaged (both ignored). Today I called. I read off the transcript I had stating that they had it 2 weeks ago... several minutes on hold but nothing. They have had my money for TWO WHOLE MONTHS and I have nothing to show for it other than their worthless apologies. They don't know why I was told that it was in stock but they won't have it for another month. How can I believe that? It could be Christmas at this rate!

I told them I wanted to cancel, get a complete refund - to which they replied it could take 10-14 days (though they've had my money, and no product, for over TWO MONTHS!) Truthfully I feel entitled to interest charges or other reimbursement for all the inconvenience and stress they have caused. Didn't take them that long to charge me or lie to me about order status (multiple times and places! My online account, a FB message, AND over the phone all said in stock and ready to ship). If they didn't lie, they sold it out from under me. Either way, very bad business practice and horrible customer service.

Terrible Company!
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with! STAY AWAY! Goedeker's listed a bar stool on their website with a picture of a grey chair with the color grey being in the title and the description, well the chair was brown. I contacted the company to return the chairs and they deducted $200 from my return amount for shipping. Silly me thought that was for the return labels to send them back to them. Nope! They wanted me to pay them the money they spent on shipping the chairs to me and then wanted me to pay again to ship them back to them. Their excuse? It's costly to have return items and they want the customer to pay all costs associated with the return. Never in my life have I heard that! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Dishwasher order
Order a dishwasher for a wedding present in May, still not received it. Just told another four week delay. Was no way to speed up order. Told it was up to me to get shipper to expedite order.
If you need something by a special date you should look elsewhere.

Liars and cheats
Purchased venta hood Goedeker's shipped and won't pay shipping bill. I can't since it's their product and fed ex says that company hasn't paid bill so holding package. Been going on two weeks so far call everyday to be lied to again

Never again!
Recommended them to a family member. The stools that were ordered never showed up, and the customer service reps were rude and were openly unwilling to resolve the situation.

Apparently Goedeker's has gone down the tubes since Goedeker's were bought out. Sorry I recommended them and will never shop there again.
