General Awnings

2nd time to order...covering more of our windows with the same. General Awnings is very easy to work with, and the awnings are great quality!

I like that you had plenty of pictures of other people's awning installations because it gave me an idea of what mine would look like. The measuring key was also very helpful. I look forward to my awnings arriving!

i found what i have been looking for. No more Sears. Looking forward to having awnings again! Pictures gave nice example photos gave nice visual of how it may look on my project.

I am so anxious to receive the awning. It looks great. I have never seen any like them. If it is as good as it looks, I will certainly tell all my friends and neighbors about you.

I love the advice listed on how to measure. The only issue I had was that when I called about one sentence in the instructions the sales person was not as confident or correct in what he told me. Thankfully when I emailed I received a quick reply back from Brian McNiel who explained the answer to my question perfectly!

Very easy to order product. Excellent instructions to get the correct fit for my windows. I am hopping I receive the product in a reasonable amount of time. I did not see an estimated delivery time.

Your website is Excellent but I did have a question with the wording on the "how to order" section. I sent an email to you to confirm what the wording meant and you responded very quickly.. The phrase is, "Space required above 36" wide door if door opens out". The answer is 13 inches for the awning I wanted and I only had 15 inches space between the top of the doorframe and the bottom of the soffits. And I wasn't sure how you are actually measuring that 13 inches. You might consider revising the wording to say something like, "space between top of doorframe and top of bracket. . . or whatever would most accurately describe how to measure for that 13 inch requirement. Just a suggestion..

I ordered the same awning in 2012 and the wind finally took them down. I have loved them and they looked awesome over my doors - When I ordered these the first time the dimensions were 4 ft W x 25" D x 25" P Those D and P dimensions were not available this time so I hope what I put down will work -

You need to explain that for the 4700 series casement awning, you need to add 2 inches per side as per your representative. Otherwise it was easy

On Saturday, I had a question about one of your awnings so I used "Contact Us" to submit my question and I received a response this morning from Brian McNeil. Based on his reply, I purchased that product online today. I'm hoping the awning works out well....time will tell!
