Geeks on Wheels

We wanted to buy a lightweight laptop suitable for travelling. The receptionist (Chantelle) took note of our request and set clear expectations when arranging a visit from a technician.
The technician (James) visited us, discussed options and assisted us to make a laptop selection that best suited our needs. He then installed the necessary software, and sync-ed the new laptop to our two existing machines.
James was clear and friendly in all his transactions and responded to all our questions.

Lafi arrived a bit late due to traffic, it's a horrible day so that was OK I was expecting a bit of delay.
He TXT me so I knew where he was and ETA.
I had a list for him and he went through everything (AND MORE) for me.
He even prompted me to see if I had a GOLD CARD, I do, so got an unexpected discount which was lovely.
He is a very nice young man and would love to have him help me in future.
All the best Lafi, hope you get a new motorcycle real soon.

I nearly had figured it out as I had taken the Ethernet off and put it on again, but not the WiFi, which solved the problem ...
And I also want to note that - because I had to wait so long for your service due to someone having to isolate - I went with this Internet connection problem to Advanced Computers at
7 Triton Dr, Rosedale before, who took me for a fool by saying they had reinstalled 'the Internet driver' etc. etc. ...

I am so grateful for the work that was done by Mike P to set up my new computer.
He was very friendly, professional with great product knowledge. I felt very comfortable with his visits. I am so pleased to know that I have ongoing technical support. I would definitely recommend the service from Geeks On Wheels to everyone. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with.

Hi Everyone ... Yuri from Geeks on Wheels came on Tuesday to sort my computer issue and came again on Wednesday with a new computer and all my data put onto new machine. Excellent service everything is working and I Love it. My old computer may be still under warranty as it was the screen that packed it in so I am chasing that up too. Would not have know that the old machine has a 3 year warranty but for Yuri advising. Good everything from Geeks on Wheels

As Martyn had to jump in the cold water not having any prior knowledge with this PC, he did very well indeed and I will ask again for him in future. Still a pity Tauranga lost Mike but I can understand he wanted to get back to Auckland. But I was very satisfied with what Martyn did on his first visit.

As a person who has no formal IT education and operates a laptop on a trial and error basis, I often find myself in IT trouble. I found the service experience great. The current issue was solved and I was advised of upcoming issues. I now have more confidence using the laptop and will use Geeks on wheels again.

We would definitely recommend Geeks on Wheels. We were not entirely satisfied with the service provided by the first technician who came to our place due to difficulties with communication. We discussed this with the very helpful manager who arranged for a more experienced technician to sort out our computer problems at no extra charge. From the time he arrived, he quickly ascertained the problems and implemented effective solutions and was able to explain to us what had happened.

Really happy with the service I got from Geeks on Wheels today. Vaughan was super friendly and knowledgeable, happy to answer any questions I had and go through the various options for fixing or replacing my ailing machine. Will very happily use the company again for future IT issues.

JOHN WAS HELPFUL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. I HAD to change the password on my xtra Account but at the same time as I did it on the laptop, I should have had it changed on the iPad and the iPhone.
took a bit of navigating and experimentation to get to the place where I could change it, this afternoon.

Lafi from Geeks arrived on time, was very knowledgeable and polite.
I bought a new Mac Pro as the old Mac Pro hard drive was failing, due to the age of the old Mac the transfer of data, particularly photos, was difficult. Lafi solved all the transfer problems efficiently.
Highly recommend Geeks on Wheels, this was the second time I have used them and both times I have been very satisfied with their work ethic and results.

Lafi was an excellent young man who got our requirements done so quickly (compared to others we have had in the past). He was a lovely person to have in our house and we will certainly ask for him in the future. He spoke highly of the hands on approach the owners have on the business and the care they take if there employees. We’ll done- as previous business owners we think that’s great.

Very happy with the support we received this morning from Jared. He quickly fixed our computer and was able to check and update all of our devices as required. He also answered a variety of questions we had prepared for him. Jared presented well, including wearing a face mask, was courteous, very knowledgeable and arrived on time.
Excellent support from Geeks on Wheels from the initial phone call that arranged for Jared to call to our home 4 days later.
We have no hesitation in recommending both Jared and the parent company Geeks on Wheels.

My email address was hacked. I rang Geeks this on Wheels. The people who answered or who rang me back were so friendly and helpful, they understood how upset I was. Justin, the technician, was super efficient and lovely to talk to. This service was recommended to me by my daughter and from my experience today I will definitely be recommending this service to others. Will definitely use again.

James arrived on time & very efficiently worked through my list of queries or to dos. I find having questions written down makes it easier for the “geek” to give you the service you require. I felt really happy when he left, my devices were working & where required James had showed me what to do.

Engineer failed to diagnose the network problem. (Another company solved the issue in 5 minutes)
Took work laptop for further investigation.
Didn't return laptop at arranged time. No communication. Had to lodge a complaint to get laptop returned (then get an invoice which included time to return property!)

Lafi was good to deal with, very professional.
I had needed help establishing a connection to my GP with "manage my health".
When Lafi was ready to make the connection, the Practice did not answer the phone.
So unfortunately I am still not any the wiser.
I may have to call on your services again, I will see how far I can get

My goodness so slow at installing everything. I had my neighbor install the same thing in our bach in half the time. Very expensive gear 25% more than you can buy from the store. Didn't get everything I wanted done because they had taken so long. They had a $30 autumn special running but was informed they only give it to you if you ask. Which I didn't see on their website so how would people know? I would not recommend them. Also this doesn't have spell check disposing that tech specialist can't add this to review service
