I was looking for a free online will, saw lots of reviews from sources I'd trust so gave this a go. I had my old will for reference and the site covered all of the things the solicitor-made will had. It was easy to use and edit (I used the edit feature several times). I liked the gifting section as it allows you to make gifts independently of the main part of the estate and gives examples of what can go in that section. They sent me a reminder to download, print and get it signed and the download has all the instructions you need to finish such as who you can use as a witness and to use the same pen as everyone else.

Good easy to use will service with Australian law in mind. the free version is ideal for people with straightforward life situations. The free version won't suffice for more complex wills. Overall a very good experience and made the overwhelming task much easier.

I am pleased to say, the free will option offered by Gathered Here, is not only accessible but also easy to understand and very straightforward to complete online.

I have made up a will which was quite easy to do. My issue is that when I go to print it always comes up with error code 500. So really I have not completed the Will as I have not had it signed and told you about it. I have asked the question in your question box but no answer

As an older person who really can't afford to pay a solicitor Gathering Here is a blessing we have no big monies or stocks to leave our son just our little home , which I know he will be very grateful for so thank you so much , I would love to be able to also help my husband to do his but as you have to have an email address he & I share the same one he is not good at emails & things

The website was very easy to navigate and the proforma very easy and quick to complete. Everything was explained in simple understandable language. I would recommend it to others who need to draw up a will, especially if needed quickly and their needs are not too complicated.

Quick, easy to use, and provides great explanations of all the various bits and pieces for a basic Will. Obviously not suitable for people who need complex Wills, however Gathered Here cater for these separately as well. This Will covers me for now until I need something more thorough, and when that time comes I will most likely use Gathered Here for this, too.

Excellent service. The process is very easy to produce the initial detail into the draft will!
However, I was at a loss as to modify/vary the gift entries I had enetered. After several attempts, I obtained phone advice-but only to eliminate the 2 gift entries I had made. This modify/vary part should be explained in detail. The other modification I seek is to allow for a DRAFT stage, for comprehensive assessment, prior to the system notifying proposed executors.

For a free, incredibly basic will it will do. Can’t beat the price after all. It’s very very limited in what you can do, no option to leave separate parts of your estate to different beneficiaries for example, just a percentage amount of the entire portion. You can gift certain items but it doesn’t quite get around the way it handles “estate” such as house if you don’t want a portion of it all just going to everyone.

This was such an easy process. Very clear instructions, excellent guidance and so quick to do. I took advantage of this service after participating in the Black Dog Institute webinar which was also very informative. I am going away to the remote bush this week for a month and needed to act quickly. We will be back to do my partner's will on my return and tidy up any details we may have forgotten. Thanks!

I found the 'interview' process for collecting information to make a relatively basic will to be very thorough and clear. The explanatory notes at each stage are very helpful. What would be helpful is the ability to proof-read the entire will before it is 'completed' and notifications are emailed to the executors.
Overall, a straight-forward process.

I felt the instructions were misleading. It seems necessary to donate some money in your will to a charity in order to get the free Will. Also wanted the email address of my executors.. Perhaps to gain more business? In the end I deleted cause it seemed like a scam. May not be, but it just felt uncomfortable.

This is by far the easiest, quickest, and cheapest way to get a simple will. The online procedure is very simple and has plenty of help notes every step of the way.
Why do other methods cost so much?
My suggestion for improvement would be to save and print the addresses and/or phone numbers of executors and possibly beneficiaries

This is a simple user- friendly platform with the option available to upgrade from the free product if required at any time. When I did have an update issue the online chat assistance quickly identified the issue and advised me on how to rectify my problem. I have recommended the service to several friends.

I have just downloaded the will kit ,filled it in and got a print out. I found the procedure quite user friendly.
My will was reasonably easy to complete, with regards to the contents, so therefore had no need to communicate with the company. I can recommend this company’s product. Cheers K.D Rupprecht…..

Fabulously easy to set up a will, and reassuring to know it's legally correct, without the expense so often associated with that. In the free version, it does only support quite simple wills, but that will be enough for most people. Very much appreciate the service, and the recommendation by the Climate Council. On that front, it's also great that Gathered Here makes it easy to include a bequest to your favoured charities.

I had procrastinated the will-making process for far too long, however, when I eventually used Gathered Here to make my will online it was so unbelievably easy. It took mere minutes for me to complete and when printed I had all the information I needed to finalize it. Thank you Gathered Here. E.

This service was just what i needed. Traveling to the Northern hemisphere shortly, I realized that my old will was woefully out of date. This service was so quick easy and efficient and i am so pleased to have things in order once again should the worst ever happen.
