They also allow pictures and videos of killing children[Pedicide – the act of killing a child] and animals[Theriocide - the act of killing sentient animals, especially mammals (Ancient Greek: therion "wild animal, beast")].
Facebook only cares about themselves, not other people! They don't even care about saving children nor animals from harm!
I thought we the people had FREE SPEECH(or FREEDOM OF SPEECH) meaning a principle that supports the freedom of an individual or a community to articulate their opinions and ideas without fear of retaliation, censorship, or legal sanction. The term "freedom of expression" is sometimes used synonymously but includes any act of seeking, receiving, and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used. Apparently Facebook does not like that! They do, however, approve posts about killing animals(THERIOCIDE) and killing children(PEDICIDE)! The FB CEO was also a member of NAMBLA(North American Man-Boy Love Association), which means he loves boys(and possibly girls, too!), but probably not in the way you're thinking! He wants to have sex with children! I'm done with Facebook!
I found this article on Yahoo: https://www.usatoday.com/story/tech/2018/03/05/facebook-asked-users-if-pedophile...⇄ />
Keep in mind that the article was published on March 5,2018, but no less disturbing!
Here is another article about Facebook censoring "#savethechildren":

This is bull and I have lost total interest in facebook after this. Glad I really didn't have a lot of pictures and personal information on facebook, never believed in that, so I can walk away from this shady social network and not miss a beat. But I feel sorry for the people who feel helpless and muscled into complying simply because they have so much of their lives tied up into some third party social network that they neither own or control. If this is not a wake-up call not to get so wrapped up and submit so much of your personal information to these social networks, then I don't know what is.
First, this hotel is actually really nice. We had a few issues, but nothing that was not resolved rather quickly. For example, we had an issue with the tub in our honeymoon sweet, that was fixed within the hour. Room Service was great. Anything we called for we received. The service industry in Trinidad and Tobago is quite terrible, but for the meanwhile, the staff at the Magdalena makes you forget about this. We stayed from Monday night until Thursday. Our wedding was on Tuesday. The person who made our time there exceptional awesome was Carineh Deokiesingh. She is a joy and a delight. She made our wedding day amazing and our stay even more amazing by getting us some special perks for our wedding. She dealt with all my pre-wedding jitters with grace and was just an amazing person. She is really the picture of perfect hospitality. On to the wedding.
The day was so beautiful. The weather was perfect. We had a lovely day, thanks to Carineh. She was there to help with a lot of details that wedding planner, Therese Chung Waldropt, completely missed. The absolute worst part of our wedding was the alleged wedding planner that Carineh suggested to us. Therese Chung Waldropt. I feel so bad trying to write this review because I really liked her as a person, but she is not the greatest wedding planner. And this really is not a reflection on Carineh either, just a series of unfortunate events.
First, I don't think she has every planned a destination wedding before, something that I should have asked her, which was totally my fault. She assured me, however, that that she could handle all the tasks that I asked her to do. It turns out, she just wanted the money. She caused me so much stress. She was an over communicator which at first I thought was a good thing. But she has a severe problem with lying. She told me that she was getting my flowers for the reception from Italy. When we got there, she barely had any flowers anywhere at all, and they still had the price tags from a store in Trinidad. She charged me a lot of money to decorate, and when I got there, she had hardly done anything at all to the ceremony site or to the ballroom. Her day of coordination was God awful. Everyone complained about her. Worst of all, I hired her to do three events for my family as this was a destination wedding and folks were coming from out of town. I can't write a post long enough to explain everything that she messed up with those events. We had a beach lime with family on the first night we arrived, which she was paid to coordinate. She left early and provided subpar food and presentation. We had a boat ride which she told me she could organize properly. On the day of the boat ride, the person she hired Lincoln Potts of the drummers of tomorrow, was two hours late picking us up and had inappropriate transportation. On the day of our wedding, Therese and Lincoln came to my husband to blackmail him for more money, even though we paid him the day before. We explained what we subtracted from his total amount as we had to pay for extra transportation to get us back from the beach when the boat ride was done. He was able to blackmail us (unbeknownst to me because I would have thrown a fit) because he was the leader of the group for the reception entertainment, the Drummers of Tomorrow. They were actually and excellent group! Our guests loved the drummer and so did the other guests at the hotel. But Lincoln had never thrown a boat ride before. He stiffed a lot of people out of money and hoarded cash by cutting corners (as we found out later).
During the reception, she ate before our guests and left for several hours even though she was being paid to coordinate. There is way more that happened that I cannot write here. It would be way too long. She still has not even given me videos that she alleged that she took of the event. I gave Therese Chung Waldropt the opportunity to explain what happened, but she just told more lies and refused to give any sort of refund for the poor services. I just have to review her on several sites and write a blog about it so that when folks search for her they do not hire her. At least not for a destination wedding. Her husband Mark was a really nice person too and helped us out a lot. So it is a shame that she is such a poor planner. She just seemed really overwhelmed and like she did not plan well for this event. Which was her job; SHE HAD ONE JOB! Lol. I cannot sing the praises of Carineh enough, though, she was absolutely amazing. The only thing that she did incorrectly was provided Therese Chung Waldropt as a possible Vendor.
Social networking is still at an immature stage. This includes facebook, twitter, maybe others. Maybe because facebook.com are run by silicon valley teenagers who are still stunned that they can make money from this s##t.
They are victims of their own success, and cannot provide customer service for their users. They mostly use software robots (bots) and AI to detect when you are doing "something wrong".
They all allow criticism of other platforms (facebook will allow criticism of twitter, and vise versa), so if you have a gripe, take to other platforms. This applies to other things as well - criticise the BBC from the dailymail's website, and so on.
(review)
Facebook is a social networking site. Good or bad, privacy or no privacy.
My issue comes with the "customer support", or lack of. Most companies have *some way* of letting you contact them. Most companies wouldn't exist without some sort of customer support option. Facebook has absolutely no way of letting you contact them if you have a problem. Their customer support is you asking the facebook community a question.
This means if your profile gets deleted, you have absolutely no way of getting any human assistance. There is an 'appeal' page. Which doesn't work.
Our house, our rules. No human customer support. Facebook is a typical modern silicon valley muppet company.
Facebook seemed to go downhill when they started enforcing usernames. People often want to use initials, or nicknames, which Facebook doesn't allow.
Facebook gets worse all the time... "Facebook live" - a non reliable way of streaming live video, with regular pauses. Perfectly suited to playing music, where reliability isn't
Particularly important. Unfortunately, facebook bots detect the music, and delete the video if the DJ/author doesn't hold the music's copyright. Despite the fact they have often paid for the records, and are not making money from the streaming.
I took it in because of an engine leak to begin with. Facebook.com pulled the engine, cleaned it and put her back together. When I got it back I rode her home. Noticed that my breather was missing. I thought it may have fallen off. I went back asking if they had put it on or forgot to. The mechanic stated he did then when he checked his work station, low and behold there it was. Week later I pulled the carb cover and notice he had cracked the plastic piece in the carb by over tightening as well as the thin metal on the air filter plate for same reason. I had also noticed that I now have an exhaust leak from them putting the exhaust back on. The weld split. They had put on the paper work, which i did not see at the time, but failed to tell me in person face to face. I also noticed leaking coming from lifter covers. I took it back in and he cleaned that up. All he did to fix the crack plastic piece in the carb was remove it and said it'll be fine that way. Did nothing about the air filter cover or my exhaust. I purchased and installed new Thunder Headers which added power and great sound. 6 months later after my last visit, the whole bottom half of the engine started pouring. I took it back in and they fixed their issue but for a price. I got her back and the very next day on my way home from work, my carb flipped upside down! I pulled off the highway, called the owner of KD Cycles and he did come pick her up and fixed the issue. Got her back a couple days later. Saw that my horn was welded on (as you can see from this video, the weld broke... hence the horn rattle) and now notice a whole bunch of pot marks on my primary cover. I confront this issue over the phone for the owner was not there when I picked it up. He claims it was possibly from my passengers jean pants flapping and hitting it. Not possible. Then he claims that he had my bike detailed and it was there before and that my bike was so dirty and a piece of $#*! that I didn't recognize it. I had a whole bunch of texts from him downing my bike but had to factory reset my phone shortly after that cleared everything off of my phone. I wanted to posts those to show what type of mechanic shop owner he is. He denies breaking the horn and denies damaging my primary cover. I saw him at Arrowhead Harley one day and showed him the issues where he again downed my bike because it is 20+ years old. I get nothing but compliments about my bike from everyone else. He is nothing but excuses. I do want to mention that after confronting him he started to try and act tough. I told him that I am going to send out reviews of my experience with his company and he advised me not to and said " you are messing with the wrong Mother $#*!er, You don't want to mess with me" a few times. Since the last visit, I also want to mention that I have been telling everyone that my bike seems to have lost power and it does not sound as good, clean or loud anymore. I thought maybe my experience with this company made me think I was hearing things. Come to find out, this intake leak is the reason why.
My opinion from ALL my experiences with this so called company... DON'T GO TO KD CYCLES! EVER! And to please spread the word.
Jim Walton, Robert Walton, Alice Walton and Christy Walton, BEWARE of CEO Doug McMillon of Wal-Mart Deceptive ways of doing business with his Customers, as well as Sol Group Marketing, Cora Rodriguez and Fresh Quest CEO Alan Guttmann Deceptive, Businesses Conducts, and last but not least, Tim Henkel even though he verbally, said that he did what he was told to do.
Even though you maybe a devoted Wal-Mart Customer, youre just a NOBODY too, to Wal-Mart's CEO Doug McMillon, in Brenda Kidds Opinion!
It is easier for Wal-Mart CEO to pay a, somebody bills, than to pay one of its, nobody customer, bills whom, are not in the public eyesight. We private citizens must be treated like the some bodies that we are. I have no doubt in my mind that Wal-mart, CEO Doug McMillon knew all along that the insides of whole uncut Guatemala Cantaloupes as well as U.S. Cantaloupes had been or could be contaminated and that contamination had and could continue to cause deaths and sickness to its faithful young and older United States and International citizens, Wal-Mart Customers.
After Wal-Mart CEO Carl Douglas McMillon, Angela Bingham, which works in the Claim Management Inc department and is a Case Manager III, and her Supervisor Jenifer Kappen, had received all of Brenda Kidd information, which was asked of her, without any type of warning to its customers, Wal-Mart silently pulled the Guatemala grown Cantaloupes out of its stores. What type of doing business was that? When asked about the payment for medical services, which came to a total of $1,702.40 cents, Tim Henkel verbally said, facebook.com are not going to pay you know more. The $1,000.00 is a final settlement offer and it will be in the mailbox as soon as you sign the settlement. And stop calling Wal-Mart Liars/saying they lied, which seemed like a threat to Brenda Kidd.
Below is one of the E-mails sent to Brenda Kidd from Wal-Mart and Fresh Quest Melons Attorney Tim Henkel.

That says hold your finger down on this and yada, yada, yada. It doesn't work, at least not for me. What it boils down to is facebook trying to entice you to buy into their ad campaigns, so facebook.com can make money off you. Yes, they all do it, YouTube, Twitter, etc.
And I must admit I've bought into a few. I've stopped. Here's the reason why.
Yes, I know that you have to spend money to make money, but I don't have to be stupid either. You post, and you post, and you post until sometimes you might make your friends nuts. If you're selling a product or in my case trying to get people interested in my books, I've set up not only book pages but character pages. You spread the word anyway you can. Use tags, use URL's when you have them, don't have a website, set one up. I don't know how I can have so many people visiting my website and me not selling more books. I figured part of it out. Same thing. Use those URL's, tag lines, and
Post regularly. Don't be afraid to repost something you have in the past. Not a lot of people saw it the first time around unless you're someone like Steven King or James Patterson. Keep reposting. It doesn't matter if it's a blog, vlog, a short story, a video, or just something you feel you must share with the world, just keep reposting.
I will give you some advice I've given to other writers. Stay away from certain subjects, top of the list politics. Also, religion. Unless you're a politician or a minister of some type or a religious writer targeting certain groups, all you're going to do is alienate a lot of people who might otherwise buy your product be it a book or anything else.
The one thing it is going to take from you is dedication to what you're doing and the belief in what your promoting. Another words, it going to take some hard work on your part. You can try to buy that from others but unless you have an unlimited supply of money that's not going to get you far.
So, you want to beat the algorithms then You are going to have to hit those buttons on your keyboard. I just got my laptop replaced for Christmas because I had worn the keys
Down to nubs. That was because I do write a lot and not because I was spending the time doing the other things I needed to be doing.
If the short cuts work for you great, but for me they don't. I will wear yet another keyboard down I'm sure. I just hope this one last a little longer than the last. Poor baby. It has taken a beating.
Keeping in mind, that once you post to Facebook. It is out there, and not just that, facebook.com now have rights to it. So, with that in mind, it truly is more important than ever to lock down your Facebook privacy configurations now that everything you publish will be so much easier to see therefore you should always be conscientious when it comes to configuring privacy options on Facebook.
Anytime Facebook enhances their features, account owners need to check configuration settings to confirm just what exactly information they're revealing as well as what they're attempting to keep private.
Privacy shortcuts on the upper right hand corner of the page permit you to remove private details like for example your gender as well as birthday, you could also block search engines from showing a direct link to your entire timeline. To completely clear off earlier posts from searches, you'll will have to review your "Activity Log" to take a look at a listing of all your personal Facebook activity so you can evaluate or change the privacy setting for each and every item. After you've made privacy updates, you ought to double-check your changes by clicking on "View As," which will let you know what your timeline looks like to an individual friend or to the open public.
Facebook's latest round of improvements includes the "Graph Search," a super-charged look-up technique that mines Facebook's plethora of member data. From the search bar on the top left of the web page, you can explore basic details for instance "nearby restaurants" together with "pages regarding news" or rather find for more personalized tidbits for instance "music my friends and relatives like" and "people who like dogs and are now living in Ohio." With such easy access to user information, it's imperative that you recheck your current privacy configurations. For each part of your current Timeline (About, Likes, Music, Groups, or anything else.), simply click the pencil icon in the top right of the section box to check out privacy settings and also change who can view (and additionally search for) the information. The Graph Search bar also works as a web search driven by Bing. Search engine results have "strict" filtering for users age 13-17 provided that they have their legitimate age listed on their Facebook account.
Tips:
Visit "who can see my stuff" on the upper right side of your Facebook page. Go to "see more settings." By default, the major search engines will link to your timeline. You can shut that off when you want.
Visit "activity log." Here you could review each of your posts, pictures, "likes" and the status updates. If you happen to be concerned about who is able to see what, take a look at the original privacy setting of the actual post.
Visit your profile page and click on "About me." Decide if you would like your gender, and the name of your husband or wife, to be visible on your timeline. You should think about if you need your birthday to be viewed on your timeline. Your date of birth is a major bit of personal data for hackers to exploit.
Just know what you are posting, and images your "friends" tag you in are public information now.
When you have a company as large as Facebook you either invest money into trying to normalize practices across the entire platform, or you enable rampant disorganization by encouraging those in charge of specific aspects to think for themselves. As a direct result of this philosophy, customer service falls by the wayside as Facebook misunderstands their customer as the advertiser and not those which use the service that the advertisers are able monetize. This becomes painfully obvious to users which have made reports of offensive or illegal content on the platform only to be refuted by the staff which spent less than 5 seconds checking it out to determine whether or not it violate the community guidelines. One would think a threat of sexual assault would be enough to get Facebook to take action, but as recent events have clarified, unless the one making the threat is painfully obvious of their intent, no action will be taken.
If youre a normal user of Facebook, you should understand that your information is being sold. Your activities on other websites that have a Facebook button are being sold. Third-party information not even relevant to Facebook is being sold by Facebook due to their partnerships with many data brokers. If you decide to delete your account and have your information removed, your information will remain as a shadow profile in which that information can still be accounted for and sold to advertisers.
I've tried so many times to just wish people a happy birthday, but I get banned for literally only that. Facebook.com seem to hate me being closely connected to their competitor Google.
I have a fascination with facebook, not because of it's popularity, not because of it's networking tools, or even why people are on it. What I find interesting is how Facebook is trying to save face(no pun intended) with its privacy issues right now. More importantly, I don't understand how people are confused about the privacy settings. Facebook has changed its privacy policy wording numerous times throughout its history basically to appease people who think they're privacy is compromised and to hold the top dog title. But to me, it all says the same thing. Here is what you need to always remember, because If you are not sure about where you stand in terms of your photos, video and written content you post online, just remember two things.
1. Every word you type, photo or video you upload to your facebook page becomes property of Facebook.
2. Assume that everything you put on the world wide web is there forever, and ever, even if it is only confusing looking source code.
If you're cool with that fact, then carry on. If not, read their specific privacy policy and take some aspirin for the giant headache after reading through it all. I found their policy easy to understand, but very tedious and very wordy. I understand why, because facebook.com have to protect themselves legally of course, but dear god, it's probably the last thing I would ever want to read.
Also, if I had a Facebook account I would assume that any photos I put on my account that are public access may show up on other websites specifically for advertisers selling products or whatever.
Don't be too shocked if one day you're surfing and you come across a pop up ad on some website with your kids picture on it selling baby products or your bikini clad girlfriend who's photo you uploaded to your facebook album is now part of a "meet sexy singles" ad or something. This actually happened to someone I know. The problem is trying to trace the origin of where the advertiser got the photo. Facebook has thousands and thousands of pictures and are easily accessed by advertisers to help them sell their stuff. Good news is that chances of you seeing yourself in their ads, probably very slim due to the amount of websites that exist now. Now If you can keep those two things in mind and you are not too concerned about it, then by all means keep writing on the "wall" and posting your pics.
Overall, I know it sounds like I'm bashing Facebook but I'm not. I think that it's a brilliant idea and a very useful tool used for it's intended purpose. I only find it funny when there are a surprising amount of people including some of my family and friends who are horrified to learn that your only as private as the content you upload.
The weirdness started with my being accused by their sensors of not meeting their community standards. If posting factual quotes by Rush Limbaugh and Donald Trump are breaking their community standards how are people supposed to remember what they've said and done. (is this a "huge coverup?")
Another time I was suspended for Covid miss information. That's simply not true. I have the vaccine and I have supported masks and social distancing before facebook.com were even implemented. I never have figured out what they were talking about.
Now I have hundreds of posts on my activity log that I didn't create. I changed the password several times and followed the processes the website provided but the fake posts kept happening. 91 fake posts showed up over a 24 hour period while my account was deactivated.
Multiple requests for attention and help have been ignored. I have been clear in my communications, repeating multiple times, that I do not feel safe when someone else is posting on my timeline. I have no idea what they're saying under my name.
The problem here is not that things happen, but that they refuse to do anything to help. Their corporate phone and website solutions lead nowhere. Phone prompts eventually lead you to someone who tells you that they're not helping anyone over the phone. The website processes do not solve the problem and only lead you back to do them again.
I have lodged a complaint with the BBB. I don't expect much from this because they have a record of just ignoring complaints. THAT, SUGGESTS TO ME, A DEEP LEVEL OF CONTEMPT FOR THEIR CLIENTS.
So, my account is being self deleted, and I have been silenced. Good job Mark. You managed to shut down a voice that has tried to keep some truth at the center of the viewfinder.
What I *like* about Facebook is that I can actually *find* my friends and overseas relatives and chat or message them. I can choose the level of privacy on my info, create separate groups of people and what those groups can see or not see, and I can truly *network* as I choose to. I can easily remove posts and if I want to opt out of dumb features like "let my friends check me in", I can do that too.
I knew going in that I would be sharing info and that my photos could be "used" for any purpose at any time. Do I actually *expect* them to do anything with them? Um, not really. Maybe that one that my friend's friend posted of her friend on a toilet... far more interesting (and, again, as with anything in life, think before acting and only share what you are have become public--same as in email).
From a business perspective, having the site be as open and as accessible as possible makes sense. It's no secret that Facebook makes a whole lot of money from knowing everything about everyone. But from a personal level, I don't think it's worked out so great.
Social networking sites are often at their best when facebook.com have some kind of niche that they're geared towards. Reddit is a forum site that's geared towards having a lot of different communities talking about the things related to the theme of the subreddit. Tumblr is a social network made up of various fan communities and special interests as well, but in a microblogging/photo blogging kind of format.
But what does Facebook have going for it? It's the site for keeping up with old friends and with family members who live a long way away. It's a great idea on paper, and for the most part it has been a profitable one, but in reality, it turns out that if you let these people connect with each other in an online environment, they're mostly going to be sharing the most inane stuff imaginable. The people I thought were great once upon a time turn out to be the most annoying people.
Unfortunately, it's also socially required to have an account. Our culture assumes you're trying to hide something if you don't have a Facebook profile now, even if the reality is that you just don't want to know every passing thought of everyone you've met.
So I think it's one of those sites that would work better if it was mostly geared towards people who are/were still in school. Once the scope of the site expanded beyond that, the site began to spiral downhill.
About a week later, I create a new middle name that describes what I do in the world. Some employee of Facebook starts harassing me about the middle name, saying that it's not legal, yada, yada, yada. I tell him, Riley, that they are liars about making everybody comply with this legal name nonsense and that I have tons of friends who don't use their legal first or last names on Facebook. We go in circles about it, and he says that I can have it as a nickname (which only shows up if someone bothers to look at my profile). I tell him that, too, is bull. They run around claiming an across-the-board policy that they only enforce when someone decides to pick you out of millions of users who don't use their legal first OR last names. I use both! I figure I'll fight these clowns outside of Facebook, and that Riley was about to block me from Facebook, because this conversation took a couple of days. They have been doing that to people they don't like too. I saved everything on my computer, change my name, and start hunting around for someone to fight Facebook with me. That has been interesting, because nobody is watching the helm of what Facebook does to people in this world.
I then find a site saying that Facebook is targeting certain kinds individuals and harassing them because they think they are activists. It was a petition to bring this to the attention of the Facebook executives, but needed another thousand or so votes. So, I propagate that one all over Facebook... to groups I belong to, which are many. Too fast for them to figure out where I was sending it to and get rid of it before I did. There's also someone who posted on my timeline which said that Facebook is doing emotional experiments on people to see their reaction; pissing them off on purpose. I was sickened by what I read, and couldn't finish the article.
What's going on in this country that some businesses get so large that everybody is afraid to go after them? And, it's not like I wish for the good old days where companies were much more under control, because that's just hogwash anyway; they have never been under anybody's control, but are just getting worse. Organizations and businesses that are supposed to protect consumers just don't exist anymore, and legal entities make you jump through a million hoops to help any individuals on a civil matter like this. I bet a class-action law-suit could be created, but they would have to do quite a bit of work to draw out people being harassed by Facebook employees who won't identify themselves with full names, titles, etc. There are over 13,000 employees working for Facebook in Menlo Park, CA, and well into the billions in users.
I was a computer professional, so I know how managers are clueless as to what technical employees decide to do behind their backs; they would have no idea and could claim ignorance, while the techno-geeks get away with murder if they want to. The petition said that Facebook is even getting the police involved in watching certain people if they suspect advocacy or activism going on. Oh, but not the supremacists! No, they leave all of THEM alone to do as they please, harass who they please, bully who they please, and hate who they please. The discrimination madness must stop! I've got more leads to check out as far as organizations who could help, but I'm just disgusted with what Facebook employees are allowed to get away with. I'm not running, either, because I will stand and fight for what I believe in. My first amendment rights are being violated, and I'm not going to just sit here and take it. NOPE!
On a visit to the tearoon in April we made reservations for Mother's Day
We were told at that time of reservation that the tea menu would be special, not the usual fare.
Which is usually quiche, a cheese ball with a cracker, chicken salad with a mini crossiant, fruit cup, a scone, and tea
Our reservations were made.
My daughter took me to tea Mothers Day at Mountain Oaks Tea Room,
We were served the same tea room fare as any other day, nothing special.
One thing the portions were smaller and the price went from every day fare 14.95 for the tea sampler to 19.95
Did facebook.com really think that a regular tea room customer would not notice this?
We did have a wonderful time, when sharing tea with a friend or your daughters, it is always a special time.
So we overlooked the Overcharge and The Special NOT Fare,
On Mother's Day I made reservation for Kristys Birthday June 6
At 12 noon
With A special request of a 3 tiered tea tray
A real English High Tea
I was told that the tea tray was a special order and had to be ordered a week in advance. So she would make it fresh and with tiny tea sandwiches, and savories
Special desserts, pastries.
I agreed on her price of 21.95 per person
Over the next few days I private messaged the owner several times...
Checking on my reservation and MY SPECIAL tea tray...
This was a very special occasion. Kristy's birthday
Kristy and I planned our outfits, hair, and was just very happy to try this special High tea tray out from our favorite tea room
Let me add here. The tea room was ran by a lady that really knew how to do tea. With great service and good food,
Then she sold the tea room lease to the present owners.
June 6, we walk in the tea room
I told her I had reservation for 2 and a special 3 tired tray...
The owner looks baffled, looks to another lady and they both said we have no reservation
I took out my phone and showed her the convo we had over the past 2 weeks with all the requests
The owner said to me
Oh thats not a problem, i can throw one together,,
THat is AFTER telling me while we were at the tearoom in April that she had to have advance notice, being she had to make this TRAY fresh.
With special english high tea foods
At this point I was really upset BUT it was Kristys birthday so I was very nice.
We are seated and I am thinking Please Lord do not let this become a disaster,
I was in for a COMPLETE disaster I wish i had avoided from the walk in the door
30 minutes later we are still waiting. We are served our tea --the ice completely melted when the Special tea tray is presented to our table.
The tray has a red gold glitter Christmas bow...
Shabby and ugly
The special pastries are so hard you can not even break them into.
The bread on the sammies was hard, and whatever was inside was minty and gross.
We ate one thing on that try. Which was a maccaron, and it was stale.
She must have whipped up anything she could get from the freezer, you could tell the breads and pastries had been frozen
I was past upset, I will let you be the judge of the tea tray.
Please add your comments
I did pay for the tea tray and added a tip for the server,(which is not at fault here) the owner is!
I contacted the owner when I got home
She says Thank you for your INPUT.
Mountain Oaks Tea room will never get my business again.

Noun
The use of electronic communication to bully a person, typically by sending messages of an intimidating or threatening nature.
Sorry but I had to put that up so everyone knows what cyberbulling is.
Now how does this fit in with Facebook?
Easy.
Facebook has this button that says report on it, when you click that to report a person for their comment or their page then the comment or page is suppose to go under investigation.
Yea, no that doesn't happen, it seems to have shown that facebook.com do not look into their comments very well and do not act upon these reposts because "opinion"
Ok let's use bullying in real life.
If I called someone, stupid, fat, ugly, $#*!ed, moronic, they should die, then I would automatically be called a bully and would be charged with murder if the person does commit suicide.
Apparently on FaceBook, this is but an opinion. No it's not an opinion to insult someones intelligence level, or wish death on a group of people, that's not an opinion at all.
If I said all white female republicans must die, that's not an opinion at all that's a threat (that sentence was an example I do not condone murder and death on anyone of any race, gender, sexuality, wealth, etc.)
People can say it like that and still go on and kill a person. It's happened before I mean it's in history books and police investigations and such.
But it's an opinion apparently. Even if it's pointed to a specific group of people when they have a report button that says (is it hate speech directed toward a specific group of people, religion etc.)
Nice job facebook for "keeping your community safe" by allowing someone to say that type of stuff to a group of people.
Lanay grabbed my hair angrily as she spoke down to me, accused me of putting her stylist down when all I said I have had my hair done in this conditon and it turned out done well when she kept asking me when the last time I got my hair cut was, and when I kept telling her I don't remember. She then pulled down on my hair while talking to me in an angry way, and I got up because I was shocked. She then turned around and acted like the victim, and like I was threatening her, while grabbing my arms, trying to knock my phone out of my hands so I couldn't record everything, Laina manhandled me out of her store.
There are bruises on my arm where she grabbed me. She then continued to act like the victim and told her staff to call 911.
Her prejudiced perception motivated her to blatantly lie to the police officers about what I had had done. The police told me that Laina said I was charging towards her with a hot cup of tea, when before she manhandled me, I put my cup down which was only warm, in order to try to get my phone to video record and protect myself. I called the police immediately and sat inside my car on the other side of the parking lot and waited for them to arrive. Another employee came out to refund me after facebook.com had to convince Laina to refund me WHICH THEY LIED ABOUT, THEY DID NOT REFUND ME!
This all happened the day after my bad styling. Prior to the incident I came back to get it retouched because over the phone Laina admitted that she saw the hair was done improperly, and she said she "didn't want to intervene", so that was more important for her than me getting a decent drying and straightening that I paid for. She also purposely butchered my unique name. This is the only footage I was able to get. You can see her trying to knock the phone out of my hand for a second time in the video I posted on their Yelp page. She also grabbed my phone very aggressively. I'm surprised the screen isn't damaged. I will be filing a police report for the assault.
Laina Hicks is racist. She AGGRESSIVELY defended her white stylist who was not familiar with simply straightening ethnic hair, and who damaged my hair on Valentine's day, leaving it frizzy and wavy still. I tipped anyway because that is the polite thing to do.

A salon in the same parking lot saved my hair and made it look fabulous even with all of the damage lanay's stylist caused!
The authors note that while it is highly addictive, at typical inhalation doses, nicotine doesn't cause clinical harm.
The substances that accompany nicotine into the body are what make smoking harmful to health, giving rise to the saying that people "smoke for the nicotine but die from the tar."
The authors say that manufacturers originally designed e-cigarettes as a way to help people quit smoking conventional cigarettes, and the devices have even formed part of national guidelines on smoking cessation.
Facebook.com note that "[i]t is plausible that e-cigarette use has contributed" to the fact that quit rates reached their highest levels in 2017. They summarize a number of studies that support this.
For example, a study that tracked take-up of e-cigarettes saw that it was strongly linked to quitting rate success. Another revealed that quitting smoking was the most common reason that people gave for taking up e-cigarettes.
A third study said that there was evidence to suggest that quit rates were higher when people took up vaping. In addition, a fourth study found that vaping was more effective at helping people stay off cigarettes for 1 year or longer than other quitting aids or giving up without aids.
It appears that some experts in public health believe that the rise in vaping is a good thing, as long as it is due to people who smoke exchanging a harmful habit for a less harmful one. They can claim, note the authors, that there is potential for significant "harm reduction."
Emerging concerns and limited evidence
Other researchers, however, do not agree with this view and point to concerns such as people who have never smoked taking up vaping, and people continuing to both smoke and use e-cigarettes.
They suggest that e-cigarettes may be a vehicle for "renormalizing smoking in a society that should ideally be smoke-free." In addition, taking up e-cigarettes could also undermine "complete abstinence."
Given the limited amount of evidence on the benefits and harms of e-cigarettes, it is very difficult to say which view is most valid.
One review of smoking cessation studies that included e-cigarettes concluded that vaping nicotine can help people quit smoking conventional cigarettes for up to 1 year. Two others came to similar conclusions.
However, the authors point out that in terms of hard evidence, all three reviews have relied on the results of just two randomized controlled trials.
Evidence from observational studies that is, those that followed people who smoke over time is mixed. Their results have differed from those of controlled trials, which researchers put down to small sample sizes, range of devices used, and other factors.
Most observation studies have examined quit rates among people who smoke and who did and did not vape. Some showed no benefit from e-cigarettes, whereas others concluded that e-cigarette use actually reduced quitting rates. A follow-up analysis came to the same conclusion: People who smoke and vape "are less likely to quit."
However, differences in vaping patterns may account for such a result. For instance, there could be differences in quit rates among those who vaped on a daily basis compared with those who only vaped occasionally.
Another topic of concern is the increasing number of young people who have never smoked who take up vaping. In the U. K., e-cigarette use in this group rose 1829 percent during 20142016.
There is growing evidence, such as from the U.S., that vaping among people aged 1430 years is associated with a higher likelihood of taking up tobacco-smoking.
I don't like the fact that every time I "like" something, or even "share" something privately to myself on my timeline, your friends get notified. I don't want to see stuff in my news feed every time one of my "friends" does something, even if they change their profile picture (and yes, I did change the settings). And why in the world would I want to see likes and shares from people I don't even know (friends of friends), but that has now taken over my newsfeed.
And I really dislike that as a user, I no longer have the option to keep Facebook from forcing me to share and view this kind of information. I dislike the fact that I can not remove the "Send a Private Message" button. Just because you are a "Friend of a Friend", it doesn't necessarily mean I want to connect with you, especially if I don't know you.
I dislike the fact that Facebook does not enforce their own rules, and violent, racist, bigoted, and hate speech is allowed, even when you report it.
Facebook used to be a good social media site, but not anymore. It is now a site where the majority of what you see is the worst in human beings. This Social Media Experiment fosters and caters to many personality disorders, like narcissism. I used to think that the hateful things that people wrote to each other were simply because they couldn't see your face, but now, I'm pretty sure that many people posting today would say the same hateful things to your face, not just because they are hiding behind a screen.
Where I see him doing a lot of good will first require him screwing his head on right, quit screwing his Facebook users by cleaning up his platform., and then pursuing the metaverse which is in its infancy and holds a lot of promise.
As to the metaverse, it's difficult to grasp, but its unstoppable and mankind will benefit. It will start out as virtual reality and a virtual place where we will work and play. But where I see it going is way beyond that. We'll pierce the 4th dimension ~ time. We'll ultimately feel like we are somewhere over the rainbow while maybe just being in our bedroom in Kansas or wherever. If it sounds cooky, it might be. But I doubt it. We are trying to get off planet Earth and if we really want to experience our universe out in the future, the metaverse will start out with Act I and there will be many more after that. Think ~ the movie "Contact" with Jodie Foster. That was written by Carl Sagan, an astronaut.
If Marc could come back down to Earth and be grateful to the people that made him money, his Facebook community users, and stop using people, maybe then Facebook or Meta, and Mark could be 5 stars. He might also save his hair.
Facebook started as a very exclusive club limited to college kids; now, the social site is open to all (though users must be at least 13 years old to join). Once a member, you can choose to join one or more "networks" -- a constellation of people at your school, your job, or in your region. When you join a network, others in that network can read your profile if you want them to. You can join "groups" that form around a common interest, like a band or a hobby. Users create profiles of themselves: interests, schools attended, political views, and more. You can choose to let only your friends (or certain friends) see your profile, allow only people in your networks to view it, or opt to have no limits at all. Users post photos to their online albums, send messages to one another, scribble notes on each other's "walls," and send "gifts" (icons that cost $1 after the first free one). There's also "The Marketplace," which allows members to post and search classifieds. An IM function is coming soon.
Facebook is a great place for keeping in touch with friends and making new ones. The interface is bright and inviting and makes it a snap to share thoughts, photos, links, videos and more in a constantly updated news feed. As with any open social networking site, kids can easily lie about their ages to join Facebook -- and then post dodgy stuff that could haunt them later. The good news is Facebook's new safeguard for minors, which at least blocks kids' posts from showing up on the Internet. On the downside, Facebook now makes more of a user's profile info publicly available. It's up to users to painstakingly tweak settings to hide this info.
By business I mean trading second-hand goods, selling things I had made personally (woodwork ie workbench, bird table, park bench), advertising and before Covid-19 - selling my services i. E do something useful for a person, I also found it useful for job searching, useful to get references for the next job. When things were good. Not the usual tasks of most other people, just scroll, like and comment... For me that got old... I say in the past tense as I have since stopped using for the reasons I will get to.
I was partially successful in facebook business when I paid facebook to advertise a now defunct business of mine doing Swedish Massage on table and in a specially adapted chair for upright massage, along with small-scale carpentry, produced with all the traditional jointing methods instead of screws and glue. I cared about quality over quantity and that's still my mindset going into business.
I had a steady stream of customers messaging and phoning me, things were looking good, but you know. What goes up must come down in terms of success/failure. I feel like that applies to me quite often. That gig had halted abruptly... but anyway
The social aspect can be a bit toxic. Having "the wrong opinion" all too easily breaks up your friendships (I didn't have an issue with a friend before entering into a debate) it proved to me that actually, I had made some fake-friends. I could filter them out when it dawned on me. We have absolutely nothing in common, not just in general, not only did i not like or care for the things facebook.com were into, but many were SJW'S or sympathetic to Woke politics. If you read a couple of my reviews, i'm more than clear about how I feel about that stuff. I have to break ranks with the weak.
I'm fully charged when it comes to politics, It's my most passionate subject... it's also the most risky if you're right of center. And what do I mean by that// well.
Sometimes this disruption is a bit contagious. If you fall out with one person, but they are known to your friends, then it makes you fall out with your friend, even though... the person I don't like (because they made me look like a fool before, took advantage of my kind nature etc) has nothing to do with OUR friendship. That is where it gets toxic. There is a domino effect, that also doesn't deserve to happen. If we were real friends, they would overlook the situation, and that is how I draw up my conclusions on the "social" apsect of social media to be vapid, superficial and accessory. I don't need other people's drama. I just need some success, hence why I focused a lot more on the business side of things.
I also noticed that when people add me or I added them, it was only conditional to us meeting each other in a establishment like school/college/work. We would never hang out, outside of this context... to me, a friend should be someone you can just call up and rock up at their house un-invited, go play some Xbox or playstation, and "chill out with bro's" at least, that's MY vision of friendship. It didn't happen
As for getting banned... again, having the wrong opinion, engaging in wrong-think and just joking about things I shouldn't because I want to laugh, got me banned, not once... but twice! I don't believe anyone is so offended that it warrants 30 day bans or permanent banning. It doesn't make sense. But it happened and it's just a real waste of time where socializing is concerned. We need to be going back to the old fashion way of meeting up in person.
Overall I cannot recommend facebook especially now with the virus going about, it taught me, we only really have ourselves to be friends with. There's a reason they are called friends... because they ALL come to an END. I'm okay with that. I've since decided not to start another account on there, until at least, after the virus dust settles. In summary, (was) good for business, bad for friendships and bad for social-mobility, but ending on a positive note, you can make it work for you if you try and don't give up. 5 stars minus 2 is 3.
That's the scary truth of Facebook. Unless you block and try to raise your privacy, EVERYTHING is everyone's business. It tells you when a friend makes a new friend, changes their profile picture, gets in or out of a relationship, gets in a "complicated relationship" (whatever that means...), and also where a person might be in their "places" tab. And also... it NEVER really goes awayyy! With a simple click, you can "delete" your facebook, but with another re-install it exactly to how it was before! O_O Scary right?
It's a fun social network, that's for sure... but if you get one, BEWARE! Know that everyone is watching you! And if you don't think you're a stalker? Just wait until you're bored and "it" strikes! You will find yourself wasting away minutes on this site! (Unless you have really good self control, which then, I applaud you! Wish I was as disciplined as you!)
Young and old--once you get a facebook and you get addicted, it's so difficult to just NOT use it during your boring hours at work or at school and at home! Again... GREAT Social network, you can keep in touch with lost friends without really having to SEE them physically!
If you're a closet shut in (and even if you're not), relax! Facebook is here to help you be a social butterfly online!:)
Anyways, what am I saying? FB is fun! Despite their template changes! Jump on the bandwagon and get one! You won't get TOO bored ever againnnn! ;)
CHOICE dispatched plumber Pete K. From White Glove Piping & Drain Service came out, *******279. He told us the wiring had burned/melted because the electrical on the unit was NOT installed properly, and that a part was missing, a connector, $1.00 cost that would have prevented the wires from melting. Pete K. Could not understand why this part was not installed.
He said he was not authorized to fix it, and to call the warranty people, Choice Home Warranties. I paid him the fee, $60. And Choice denied service even though it had been installed by Certified personnel, facebook.com could not cover it. They advised that I contact the plumbers that installed it.
I then called the plumber who installed it incorrectly on 3-3-2018; ROBERT L PHILLIPS PLUMBING CO. *******879; 49 E McLeod Ave, Eagle Lake, FL. 33839. AHS Service Request No. Is: 446568982. I spoke with Brandi at Phillips on 12-29-2020 who confirmed the install, and told me they would send a repair person to evaluate the issue on Jan. 4th 2021, and that Rheem water heater would still be under warranty.(Its a 6 year warranty) she was sure the owner would fix it if it was incorrectly installed.
On Jan. 4th, their Repair person Daniel took a look at it and said, yes, it was improperly installed, that the wires were stretched to their max and that there were gouges on the melted wires due to friction against metal. PLEASE NOTE: The water heater they installed was much shorter than our original water heater, so he MOUNTED the water heater on small wood blocks of 4 x 4 to try and make the electrical connection reach the wiring! Daniel then spoke with his mgr.
After speaking to Courtney, mgr, he told me that since I did not call them first they could only fix the water heater after the electrical wiring was replaced and corrected by ME. I said, But it was installed incorrectly by you guys! Daniel said that what if the plumber from Choice (who just looked at it and showed us the damage just as Daniel had done.) had damaged it! I said the Choice plumber did not cause the damage any more than he had. He said to call the mgr. After several attempts, I spoke with Courtney, who said they could not pay for the electrical, but they would fix the water heater if needed.
I asked if they could at least pay for half of the electrical and that I wanted to build a good rapport with them and call on them when I needed plumbing, as we are senior citizens and would like to have reliable contractors to count on and we're on a fixed budget. I reminded her that 2 plumbers (including Daniel, their plumber), had admitted that the water heater electrical had NOT been installed properly. She said it sounded reasonable but that the decision had to be made by the owner, T. Phillips, and that he would call back.
T. Phillips called and said that there was only a 30 or 90 day warranty max. On his work, and this was over 2 yrs. I told him about the incorrect installation. Where a part was missing, He said he didn't know about this, that he had not spoken with his tech Daniel yet. Phillips then said he knew the problem and that it was very easy to correct, which would take a few mins. That he himself could come out and fix it, but that he was not going to do this because it was over 90 days, and he does not know if someone else fiddled with it! That we should have called him first, although I have a home warranty service and didn't know what the problem was?
Then he got rude, kept interrupting me that what if the heater was 10 yrs old, that his tech Daniel (the one he said he had not yet spoken to) told him that I had accused him of doing the damage! I asked him if he was insinuating that I was a liar? And if this was the way he treated his customers. He told me to get a life, that I was pathetic, and hung up on me.
We then called an electrician to fix our wiring. Crossed Wire in Bartow, FL. When he came out, Joe said it was definitely installed wrong! He said the connector mentioned above was missing, He then took pictures of the damage, the burned areas of the wires and other areas that show why the electrical gave out. He said that this problem does not necessarily show up within 90 days, that it can take years depending on usage, family size, etc. He said the wrong size heater was installed and that is why the wires did not reach and were overstretched, and that it was crazy that the heater was elevated on 4 x 4 blocks to try and make it reach! He said the Greenfield connector, (a metal flex connector) was not installed and therefore the wires were unprotected from the heat of the unit and started melting until finally they got gouged as the plastic melted through, and good thing our breaker was working properly and it prevented a fire. Also, after he fixed the electrical issue, the water heater did not show any other damage and was turned on. We finally had hot water since 12-27!
I expect Phillips Plumbing to take responsibility by paying my electrical fee for the repair, ($125.00) plus the $60. Call out fee with Choice Warr. I hope they don't do this to anyone else! Phillips Plumbing is NOT reliable! The owner is Unprofessional, Disrespectful, Unreliable, and downright Rude! And certainly not someone I want to do business with again!
My suggestions to anyone who is going through such a situation is this. Check if you can recover your password with the email you use to log in. If successful, reset your password immediately and remove any phone numbers or emails you don't recognize that has been added to your account. And if you have and credit/debit card saved to the account, remove that too. Then go to the settings menu and on the tab labeled "Your Facebook Information" delete your account and information because it's not worth starting over.
Note: If you use facebook to sign in to other sites I'd suggest that you create log in ID specific to that site.
Also there is a 14 day wait period until your profile is actually delete it. Apparently this will allow you time if you want to cancel the deletion. This is a safeguard form someone hacking and trying to delete your account. What a double edge sword. The hacker has 14 days now to try and access my account and stop the deletion process. Mark Zuckerberg should be castigated and facebook shut down.
