Don't order online, in store only!
I needed new clothes for my new job. I placed order online only received half of the discount from coupon. The customer service rep said because sale items couldn't receive the full discount. I asked for a supervisor waited 10 minutes on hold and was disconnected. I call again the rep said she would give me expedited shipping at no charge because I was so upset. She said it would take 5 business days for me to see the $15 credit. The next day I see an unauthorized additional $38.49 charged to my debit card. Express said this was because one of the dresses was being shipped out separately. I already paid for this dress. They said these funds were on hold to make sure I had funds on my card t since the dress was being shipped out separately and would fall off my account in 5 days and nothing further could be done. I order from Amazon all the time and they divide my shipments up and never billing disputes ever! I called my bank and told them this amount was unauthorized and blocked Express from having access to my debit card anymore since they lost my trust. From now on I will only shop in the stores and will never use my debit card again. I do like their clothes and have had positive experiences in the stores only. Stay away from shopping on unless you enjoy being aggrevated and being overcharged.

Love Express
I've been shopping at Express for over a decade. Love their clothes and that Express carry a petite sizes in business attire. The in store policies are constantly changing and sometimes their service is lacking so I prefer to shop online.

Online service is fantastic! They've always resolved my issues when I give them a call, when it comes to an item I've purchased being out of stock; they'll honor the price for a similar style item or the item in a different color.

I would definitely recommend Express. They always have great sales and online customer is top notch.

Express don't publish the bad reviews on their website.
I absolutely love Express, Express made it easy to purchase and return but you'll have to pay $6.99 for returning. I recently gave a bad review on the dress I bought via Express and at the same time, I post another good review on the 2nd item at a similar time. The good review went public on the Express website however I checked the bad review on the dress I bought a few days later. I noticed that it never posts. Apparently, Express filters out the bad reviews on their website. Huge disappointment because I use reviews for my purchases.

My Go-to!
I love shopping at express! I can find both work and casual clothes for truly any occasion. Express are innovative, stylish and priced right.

I ordered a dress and it arrived late, but Express wouldn't let me return the order outside the return window even though Express were at fault because my order was much later than they had promised


If I could give negative (-) 5…I MOST CERTAINLY WOULD!

I have always loved Express…affordable cute clothing. I have always received great service from them and always appreciated their help and their problem solving to help me with any issues that I incurred. NO LONGER! What happened to me tonight with Customer Service is beyond repair.

I had numerous tabs I had saved on my phone in the last 2 or so months that I needed to take care of in the next 30 days. I spent hours and hours of my time saving tabs of companies/places/businesses that I needed to contact by the end of January 2022.


I am beyond UPSET and FRUSTRATED right now. I have lost so many hours upon hours of research and hard work because I trusted The Express Customer Service Representative to take care of me and the problems I was having with my order!

She said "we need to "troubleshoot" so that you may receive your discount". Okay, cool. What do I need to do? Her reply was "follow my instructions". Okay, I TRUST (TRUSTED) you. Next thing I know my entire browser history was deleted. Did she say if you do this all the history on your phone will be deleted as well as my order Hell no! Right now the least of my worries are about my order It has more to do with losing my history on my phone!

I asked for a Supervisor. The Supervisor told me that's how we train our employees to "troubleshoot". SERIOUSLY I asked "You tell them to guide a customer through "troubleshooting" and Express DO NOT HAVE TELL YOU THEY ARE DELETING THE HISTORY ON YOUR PHONE?" The 2ND SUPERVISOR I SPOKE WITH as well as the FIRST, both TOLD ME…drum roll, please…"NO THEY DO NOT HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT, it is up to you to understand what they are "walking you through ". " HELLO! I am 60 years old and I know how to look things up on a computer. Do I know how to "troubleshoot" change my settings etc. NO!

Teenagers (heck even kids younger) 20,30 and 40 somethings understand computers and their workings much better than me at 60. I did not grow up with computers! How can Express DISCOUNT what they did to me and put me through and chalk it off as we'll give you a $20 credit on your next purchase. SERIOUSLY $20 is going to make up for everything I lost? UNBELIEVABLE

I placed an order online, can't get anyone to help me get a return label. Can'y evern get it online. Express make it hard on purpose to make returns, sad company. I will NEVER bu ytyour products again. Too many other grat companies that will honor their return poliucy.

Express used to be my favorite
The last time I made a payment I was $2 short. I caught it, and paid it, but apparently did so late. Thinking I paid off my card, I ignored my subsequent statement available emails. Turns out, I was being charged $10 late fees, 1st on the $2 late payment, then on the late fee, so I ended up with a $23 charge. I tried to make a purchase today and couldn't because my credit card had been shut off because I had the $23 payment pending. I found this out when I called Customer Service. I have spent thousands of dollars at Express over the years, and what Express came back with was "well, we'll give you $10 back". Seriously... billion $ retailer? You're going play that bull$#*! game with me? I could care less about the $10... it's the principle.

Guess what Free People and Anthropologie? My thousands of dollars I would have spent with Express going forward will now be yours! Bye Express! Keep treating good customers like this and see what happens. There are plenty of other great places to shop.

Workers insist on shipping items to your home but they take a month to arrive or the order gets lost
The clothing is great just know that shipments take forever. When I can't find a size in the store the employee is so eager to have me buy online so I did and I'm waiting a month later - this was a mistake

Overall trash
Express canceled some of my items after I already made the order and paid shipping so I had to pay the same shipping for less items and they wouldn't reimburse me
