Empire Covers

Ordered a boat cover that was said to fit my boat and it's way to small sent them emails about it and it took them a month to get back with me sent it back and now another month has passed and still have not been reimbursed tryed calling them but have set on the phone for 45 min with no answer would never buy from them or recommend them to anyone

Ordered a cover from this website on May 24th for my F150 truck. When the cover arrived on June 5th I noticed the cover was a "Budge" cover. Having previously owned a "Budge" cover that only lasted one year I didn't even bother taking the cover out of the box as "Budge" covers are horrible quality. On the same day that I received the cover I submitted a return request. Two weeks later I still did not receive a response from EmpireCovers so I tried calling Budge directly on June 17th. After waiting on hold for over an hour I finally spoke to "Todd" at Budge who told me I would receive an email with the return shipping label. Just checked my email and now I received a response back from EmpireCovers indicating my request was outside of their 30 day return policy! I am now back on hold (going on 90 minutes) to try to speak with someone at Budge to return this horrible cover. Please do not give them your business as Empire Covers are Shysters!

I had a nylon strap for my bimini top (purchased at Empire Covers) rip in half. Empire Covers said they cannot sell me a replacement strap--that I would have to order an entire new bimini to get the strap--and that I otherwise need to fashion and fit my own strap with materials from a local hardware or marine store. That's B. S.

So after I emailed them I waited 4 day's for a return number Empire Covers have to have wrote on box. They offered no return shipping. When I went to FedEx their label said 1lb lady said she doesn't know how they can get away with this 1lb label my cover weighs 59lbs was going to cost 141.00 to return. And with the 10 percent restock fee was going to be half of cost of cover
My guess is they do not get many returns because of this practice. I would not recommend them to anyone for this reason. Reason for return I didn't care for the material it was made of.

This company takes your money and does not deliver the product. When contacting them, Empire Covers say "just another day or so". Two months later, they still have my money and I have no cover. EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I received 2 of the 4 pieces I ordered, a loveseat cover and a coffee table cover. Empire Covers are not responding to my emails and phone calls regarding the 2 chair covers. I've spent almost $100 and not only haven't received the entire order but the products that I have are very cheap material and ill-fitting. I'm thoroughly disgusted with this company and would never recommend them.

I went to their website, entered the year, make, model, and length of my boat. The picture shows how it fits. When I emailed them Empire Covers asked for a photograph of the tag to be certain they didn't ship the wrong cover. After verifying that they told me the covers do not cover the swim platform. This make and model ONLY comes with the platform and there is nothing on the slopes back to which the cover can be attached. After I pointed that out they became unresponsive. Stay away!

I bought a bimini cover 2 mo. Ago and it has already torn. I have emailed and called MANY times and get no responce as to how to return

It's easy to advertise a 5 yr. Warranty BUT THEN IT SHOULD BE HONORED!

I went to purchase a motorcycle cover and it said Free shipping in TWO 2 spots next to the item. I went to check out and it added a $10 shipping fee. I chatted with their customer service and Empire Covers said I needed $50 to get the free shipping. I sent her a copy of the page I saw and she said there was an * next to the Free shipping and I needed to click on the banner to see I don't get free shipping. There was absolutely nothing that indicated the * linked to anything about shipping on the face of the screen. She said she would talk to the web designers and I told her it was false advertisement and that I would purchase the item elsewhere.

I purchased a boat cover from Empire. I paid $160+$65 Handling and $30 tax=$255. When it was delivered Canada Border Services charged me an additional $35 ($25 Gst+$10 handling). I contacted Empire, Empire Covers told me to fill out the request form for Canada Border Services stating Empire had paid all taxes and duties. Canada Border Services mailed me back stating I needed to go to Empire to collect taxes and handling fees. I called Empire, they said I needed to read the policy on their website stating additional duties and taxes may be charged upon delivery.
