Bought a laptop through the digital river ireland. When communicating with the agent he was prompt to reply that the item will be shipped in 2 weeks and there is not much in stock left so to hurry up with the decision. I realy wanted the Lenovo legion 5 pro and the decission was not hard to make and oh boooy... did I $#*! my self up.
Information on confirmation email shipping in 2 weeks. Waited, and give a call 2 days before item had to be shipped, just to check are there any updates, any delays. Lady from customer support said "all fine, look. The laptop is in the warehouse and it's ready to be shipped on time". 2 weeks passed, the day has come and nothing, confirmation email, item still in process.
Contacted again, first through the chat, nothing (DigitalRiver even disconnected the chat). Contacted again through the email, no response, called again and guess what? They don't have a clue:)

I understand that my money or my satisfaction does not mean anything to this company, the same as money and satisfaction from all of the people who got screwed by them, according to the reviews on this site.
If one item is advertised as in stock, by my understanding is that the laptop is completed and ready to be sold and shipped.
Why are people given wrong information on websites with shipping time and why are they being lied to by the agents?
Are you, as a company, not ashamed of the reviews you are getting and the way you treat customers?
For us, as an end user, explanations like "Multiple vendors are involved in fulfilment and other elements of a purchase" don't mean a $#*!, you are representative of Lenovo Ireland, and you are the one to take the responsibility. Only thing that matters to me is that once I Pay that the dates provided are respected and that I get what I paid for.


Fraudulent Service
DigitalRiver don't fulfil orders placed and their customer support provides no answers whatsoever - avoid any website that uses Digital River

AVOID buying Lenovo products in Ireland...
Lenovo products in Ireland are sold by a third party re-seller: Digital River Ireland.
Ordered a Lenovo Yoga laptop, Lenovo Yoga mouse and a DVD burner.
Received the laptop and DVD burner, but never received the Yoga mouse. The laptop and the mouse were under one tracking number, one shipment. I received the laptop only, but for Digital River the delivery was done. The UPS label shows that the package is "1 of 1" and not "1 of 2". It looks like the Lenovo Yoga mouse never left the warehouse. Contacted them numerous times via email and phone but the Lenovo Yoga mouse still missing. Digital River promised to check the stock against the purchases. So far DigitalRiver never did. For a month still waiting for a case outcome.
Paid for an item I never received. This is simply a theft.
LENOVO is let down by a Digital River Ireland.
Careless and poor customer service.

Still waiting on my order...
Placed an order for the new Sony Xperia 1 iii on release day (19th August). Still have not had the phone delivered almost a week later and when contact customer support DigitalRiver just say someone will email you with an update which they never do. Unacceptable especially when the order value is over £1k

JUST straight THEIFS (or), is there a 0 star?
I bought AOMEI backuper Professional from this co. I bought a lifetime product key. I was able to do what I needed to, 6 weeks ago. I need to use the program again today. " Your Trial has Expired" I Uninstalled and reinstalled the program and used my Registration key, Copied directly from the email DigitalRiver sent, " Invalid registration key" I went to their site, to pull up my order and seek help

Order in process
My gpu has been in "Order in process" for a week now and their customer service is literally useless, I haven't gotten a single reply from them in days. Who in their right mind would do business with these tools.

Waiting refund for 3 months
I ordered Lenovo laptop and DigitalRiver deals with delivery, I cancelled same day and still waiting for refund 3 months, horrible company!

I can not get a refund, Email response, their phone cuts off/does not answer.

I contacted sysgeeker and no response. Began refund with them, no response.

Contacted DigitalRiver and no email response, their phone does not work. Nothing. I called my bank and began a fraud investigation, so we will see where that goes.

Bad company
I ordered 2 phones from this company. One arrived but not the 2nd phone. After a multitude of emails and phone calls for delivery of the missing phone or a refund all I get are apologies and excuses but no phone or refund. Disgusting company avoid at all costs

Add me to the list of dissatisfied customers. I've had nothing but trouble with the version of Kaspersky that I bought from Digital River. It was renewed without any message from them before the due date. Now I have to find an email address for the company, tell them I never intended to renew and ask for a refund. At least I purchased it using PayPal.
I will never have any dealings with this company again and highly recommend that anyone reading this doesn't either.
I've been using computers for over 35 years and have never had the problems I had with Digital River's version of Kaspersky. Even though I paid to have them download it to my computer, I was told to do it myself and if I had any problems, to contact them. What a complete and total ripoff!
