more lies if they say they are going to call total lie was told i would be getting a call again nothing first time i bought from here was 11 years ago a rack for a 1998 ford bought tons of stuff since then, I can't see buying from here again to waste of time i would suggest find some else

I ordered a rack and pinion from Detroit Axle and Detroit Axle charged my card and sent me a tracking number. The tracking number claimed the part hadn't made it to the facility yet. When I called nearly a week later to find out what was happening I was told they didn't have the part and it was on backorder about a month out. (Who charges for a part they don't have?). I asked for a refund and was told it would be 24-48 hours. Six days later I called again and was told it would take 24-48 hours (oh and they asked me if I still wanted the part! I thought I asked for a refund last week?). I told them I wanted a refund by the end of business that day. I was assured I would recieve a phone call by the end of the day (I did not). I have filed a dispute with Paypal to get my money back.
I have since purchased the same part from another company and had it installed.
This company appears to be thieves! I will never order so much as a spark plug from them.

From brakes disc and suspension parts for my Mazda 5 to brakes for my BMW and a wheel bearing for my Flex. I have made several repeat purchases. The best purchases have been the half shafts that are 1/3 cheaper than NAPA and have a 10 year warranty. The Mazda 5 kept warping disc from Napa. I upgraded to the drilled and slotted for less money and put an end to the warping problem from the OEM. I suggest read your descriptions closely because sometimes small misc parts may not be included. IE. Anti rattle clips for brake shoes. So far with about 10 purchase made, not a single issue.

So far I have ordered Brakes and rotors for my F350 4x4 and both my 15 & 16 Kia souls. I haven't had any problems with these parts. I find they're pretty good quality, no warpage on the rotors if I have to hit the brakes, the pads are wearing the way they're suppose to. I order, I get a receipt, I get a shipping number and the last time I had all parts in under a week. That's pretty darn good service if you ask me.

The outer Tie rods inner threading was shorter than the OE spec. Wheel alignment was never the same.

I can't believe the reviews Detroit Axel is getting reviews like this. I ordered new hub's and break's from them a year ago, and I even ordered them over the phone just to make sure I ordered the right ones, and the customer service was excellent. I also plan on doing a lot more business with them in the near future. For those that may not want to do business for 20 bad of 25 reviews, just might want to look at the flip side and remember that it's more likely for people to complain than to give a kind word, and secondly, average out the year's in business vs. The complaints... Also remember that some people just have unrealistic expectations...

I purchased a transmission for my 2013 Dodge Caravan. Warranty is 3 years, unlimited miles. After only 12K miles my transmission needs replaced. Everyday for over a week we have called just to be asked the same repetitive questions: have you checked the fluid, what codes are showing... then we keep being told this info will be sent to the tech. I am already out my personal vehicle plus the cost of a rental car. So I called again today to be told this could take weeks that I am routed to a call center in Texas that cannot give me an actual direct number nor a corporate number. There's other reviews from dissatisfied customers and the owner listed a number to call him. We tried that only to go through the same issue and still no return phone call, no emails; nothing but the runaround. I will NEVER purchase nor recommend anyone to go through Detroit Axel. I have since found out they're also not accredited by the BBB. If you want to get ripped off, receive poor customer service and excuses instead of your warranty honored then this is the place for you.

I ordered hubs and a axel Detroit Axle only sent one axel and it was the wrong one and didn't send the hubs then I called them they said it should be there tomorrow go to find out they never shipped it I'll never use them again I went to Napa

Excellent parts! Cheap and Good quality. Can beat them was struggling for parts for my Corolla and got a real deal suspension kit and Brakes kit

Took them 12 days to ship my product out that's after I called and her to find out where it was that and what was going on and acted like it was my fault because my product didn't ship VERY POOR WONT EVER USE AGAIN!

Worse customer service I have ever encountered. Was attempting to rebuild a truck for a wounded vet, emailed them thru ebay and directly at *******@detroita…. 31/2 months over 60 email requests for tech questions never a single response back.
Called customer service, put on hold for hours, call never answered.

That includes emailing several V. P.'s and the CEO Musheinesh, all emails open and read according to read receipt, not a single person has ever responded, tried to help or even acknowledged the questions. Not even a courtsey response.

I run a wounded vet blog, and after posting about it got 10's of thousands of comments from others with the same complaints. And just like me left an ebay review that mysteriously got deleted, and no longer is visible. So thousands have bought, complained, or been unsatisfied, left reviews,,, but somehow other buyers dont get to see it.

So it is obvious the employees spend more time disputing bad reviews than answering customers questions. No company on ebay can have not a single bad review. Clearly its faked.

So join the boycott, and do not do business with Detroit Axle, you cannot trust the reviews and ratings. If you support our troops than support our troops boycott of Detroit Axle.

Till you take the time to find and answer the original emails The protest keeps going, and I am expanding it to numerous other wounded warrior blogs.

Instead of actually having a person even review and answer the complaints and bad reviews on here, you have an automated bot answer all the reviews according to the star rating. I can post a BAD review but put 5stars and your auto system will thank me for it.
