The staff and mechanic were super helpful! Indeed, I took my bike in and he adjusted it on the spot, replaced the stem that had cracked, and made sure it was good to go before I left. I expected it to be a few days and a high quote, but it was smooth, painless process. And they were really friendly and courteous; no childish bike shop snobbery that I can't stand. Highly recommend!

Two comments, not part of the above. 1) Took 3-4 times to get through on the phone during your business hours.Rang with no answer. I assume it was a staffing shortage. So sent an E:mail, and the response was quick. 2) I was very surprised to find matches in both my shipments. There was no label saying the shipment contained flammable material. I don't believe you can ship flammables without labeling. May want to check the USPS and other shippers regs. Thanks

After several months and unsuccessful attempts to locate a steel bike in XL, I got a recommendation to try Campfire. They had two brands for me to try. Toby Smith took special pains to make sure that the size was correct and that the seat height was properly adjusted before my test ride. I was all smiles as we loaded the Surley "Straggler" on the car to resume my love affair with steel bikes after retiring my 1972 Raleigh Grand Prix. I think everyone deserves a new bike every 50 years!
