I love BlueNile.com. Their jewlery is exceptional and you get free shipping. This is another exceptional company. I have never had to return an item to them because everything that I have purchased I loved. Blue Nile deliver your merchandise right to your door. Very pleased with this company.

This is the best place to purchase jewelry. I got my wife's engagement ring and wedding band here. I was able to custom select every aspect of the rings. For her I chose the color 'D' for Debbie, the carat weight was. 77, we graduated HS together in '77, the table(% of area on top of diamond) was 59%, we were both born in '59. Her rings are platinum which is in the 10th group on the periodical chart, we were married 10/10/10. I selected the band width, clarity and cuts as well. She loved all the thought that I put into it.
Now as for the price, unbelievable, I shopped around the local brick and mortar jewelry stores, Blue Nile could'n even come close, in fact one of the jewelers actually recommended Blue Nile after he couldn't find what I wanted.

Blue Nile isn't a bad place to buy a ring, but I found the diamonds to be only so so and making a return was harder than I had anticipated. The customer service on the phone was good though.

I chose Blue Nile when buying my engagement ring because you can customize EVERYTHING! Clarity, cut, and weight of diamond, band style.... No two rings are every really the same. The site does a good job of leading/teaching you about diamonds to you can make educated decisions. Pricing is fair and competitive.

My fiancée couldn't be happier with the diamond. It's a 2 carat almost perfect gem.

The purchase process is important of course as it's an emotional and exciting purchase. Notifications and next steps were effectively and promptly communicated. Unfortunately Blue Nile would not help me with an opportunity to purchase the cleaning kit after the fact. I was unaware the cleaning kit was even an offering.

Otherwise two thumbs up.

I have a marriage function in the coming Sunday but I have not new collections of jewelry for wearing at the time of function. So I am very sad and decided to not attending the function. That time my mom ordered pair of diamond bangles from the bluenile.com site. It was an amazing set of diamond bangles. After got the bangles I attend the function.

I ordered a necklace and it arrived next day. It is beautiful, exactly what I hoped, and I couldn't be happier with my purchase from Blue Nile.

My husband purchased a $600 platinum bracelet for me. It chipped and at that point I found out it was plated silver. The bracelet was not platinum at all. I contacted blue nile and Blue Nile refused to offer any type of reconcilitation. They talked to me on the phone twice. They said that I found a bracelet that looked like theirs and it was not the one they sent me. They shipped the same bracelet back to me with an invoice saying it was a platinum bracelet AGAIN and when I opened the box it was the same one I had before They didn't even have the guts to tell me they weren't going to do anything about sending me the wrong bracelet. This is complete BS. If you purchase anything from there take it to a jeweler to get it tested to make sure it is real.

I ordered a ring from bluenile and thank god Blue Nile let me do a free return. It was not at all what they said it was going to be.

The best part about buying jewelry online is you don't have to deal with high pressure sales people working on commission. You can take your time and figure out what you want without the hassle of some guy trying to persuade you in one way or the other. I love the selection Blue Nile offers and have bought from them many times! Great pieces for great prices!

Orders have arrived promptly. The only thing I would say is a caveat for the company at least is that you can often find similar items at a better price.

I have purchased several items from Blue Nile, my favorite being a pair of peridot and diamond drop earrings set in white gold. I have gotten many compliments on them, and Blue Nile have held up well. When I purchase from Blue Nile, I know the quality of what I am getting. They are very transparent with the descriptions of each item on their website. When I buy something there on sale, I feel like Im getting a good price. Items are always packaged so nicely. I love opening them up. I would and have bought from them again and again.

I love the "Build your own custom jewelry" feature Blue Nile offers. I love to go in and play till I make something I just LOVE!! I've created a few one of a kind pieces that I've gotten so many compliments on!

Blue Nile promises free returns, but if you buy expensive wedding rings the returns don't really end up being free. You see if you buy say a $5000 ring and decide you don't want it, you have to pay to ship it back to them. But you can't just put it in an envelop and mail it, you have to send it registered and insured which can easily run you over $50. So I'd choose a good local jeweler over Blue Nile unless you're really sure you're not going to return anything. I would point out though that the return went smoothly to Blue Nile's credit.

Well, I finally got my ring ordered from blue nile last Monday. I saw a lot of possitive feedbacks on the internet about this company, and that was the primary reason I ordered my ring from them. I ordered a 1.5 carat H color diamond ring which was just a little over $6,000. The ring turned out perfect except the size. It was a little loose on my finger so I took it to the local jewelry store to have it resized which costed me another $300. Otherwise, this would be a real deal!

My issue is with my wedding band. When inreceived it the sizing was smaller than what I ordered. I had purchased a 5.5 and it measured in at a 5.25 which ended up fine because it fit perfectly. The reason I know the size is because I brought it to a jeweler to get it inspected and was told this was the actual size. The next issue is that the ring has a milagrain design and is very pretty. However, after a little over two years of wearing it the milagrain has almost completely worn off. I sent it back and Blue Nile accused me of bringing it to another jeweler and that jeweler must have polished off the design. This is absolutely not true and what jeweler would polish off the design of a wedding band?! Also, wouldn't I be asking a jeweler to fix it if they ruined it. Next Bluenile told me that I had the ring worked on since it was not a size 5.5. I told them it arrived in a smaller size for which they told me was impossible. Well it's not impossible and that is what happened. Then they asked me if I dropped something on the ring or if Input it through some trauma, which I have not. I simply wear the ring on a daily basis as I am sure most people do with their wedding bands. They thought I wanted a new ring but I wanted them to repair my original wedding band as it has sentimental value. I received the ring and it is not repaired. While the milagrain is back in some spots it is not in all and there are parts around the diamonds that are so worn I'm worried the diamonds will fall out. I am disgusted with this company. If you want quality and a product that will last a lifetime do not buy from Bluenile!
